Our BTTS Acca Tips are based on statistical analysis of recent performances.
Atletico Madrid vs Club Brugge (Tuesday, 17:45)
Another goal-heavy clash could be on the cards when Atletico Madrid and Club Brugge meet for the second leg of their Champions League play-off tie on Tuesday evening.
The tie remains very much up for grabs after last week’s pulsating 3-3 draw in Belgium.
With both sides likely to adopt a front-foot approach once again, goals at both ends look the way to go again in the Spanish capital.
BTTS was a recurring theme throughout the league phase in Atletico Madrid’s matches, with all but one of their eight fixtures seeing both teams strike.
Furthermore, there have been goals at both ends in each of Atleti’s four home games in this season’s Champions League so far.
That trend looks set to continue against a Club Brugge side who saw BTTS land on their travels at Atalanta and Kairat Almaty.
Winterthur vs Thun (Wednesday, 18:00)
It’s top versus bottom in the Swiss Super League on Wednesday evening as Winterthur play host to Thun.
This clash was part of the weekend treble in this column, but a postponement meant it ended up as a double – and both selections landed.
Despite Winterthur sitting at the foot of the table, BTTS has been a staple of their home games this season.
In fact, both teams to score would have been the correct call in 11 of the Red and White's 12 Swiss Super League home matches this term.
While Thun currently top the table, both teams have found the net in 18 of their 25 league matches this season to date.
That BTTS sample includes nine of their 12 away days, so all the signs point towards a repeat at the Stadion Schutzenwiese.
Juventus vs Galatasaray (Wednesday, 20:00)
Juventus face a formidable challenge in their bid to salvage their Champions League campaign as they take on Galatasaray at home in the second leg of their playoff tie on Wednesday.
The Italian giants were hammered 5-2 in Turkey last week, leaving their hopes of progressing hanging by a thread.
With Luciano Spalletti’s side needing to throw everything at this tie, another high-scoring shootout could be on the cards in Turin.
That scenario isn’t unfamiliar at this venue this season – during one of Juventus’ league phase fixtures they played out a barnstorming 4-4 draw with Borussia Dortmund.
The hosts have also been involved in plenty of entertaining Serie A clashes recently, with three of their last four matches featuring BTTS and over 2.5 goals.
There’s every reason to expect that trend to continue against a Galatasaray side that have seen both teams score in two of their last three Champions League outings.
