Lorient and Paris FC will lock horns in the Coupe de France at the Stade du Moustoir on Wednesday night.
The hosts come into this clash in good form, having won each of their last three matches in Ligue 1.
Similarly, Paris FC are unbeaten in three league matches, not to mention they caused a huge shock in the previous round of this competition when they dumped star-studded PSG out of the tournament.
Each of these two sides has been among France’s most entertaining teams to follow this season, so their Coupe de France meeting on Wednesday night has all the makings of an action-packed encounter.
That is underlined by the fact that both teams have scored in eight of Lorient’s 10 Ligue 1 home matches this season.
As for Paris FC, there have been goals at both ends in 13 of their 20 French top-flight fixtures this campaign, including seven of 10 away from home.
Telstar vs Go Ahead Eagles (Thursday, 19:00)
Both targeting a spot in the semi-finals of the KNVB Cup, Telstar and Go Ahead Eagles will face off on Thursday night.
Telstar have seen their mini-revival in the Dutch Eredivisie come to a halt in recent weeks, losing each of their last two matches, the most recent of which was a 4–1 defeat to PEC Zwolle.
That loss did, however, maintain what has been a running theme this season in matches involving the hosts with regards to both teams scoring.
In fact, both teams have netted in nine of Telstar’s 11 Dutch top-flight fixtures on home soil this season.
Go Ahead Eagles, meanwhile, have also proven profitable in the BTTS market this term.
