Our BTTS Acca Tips are based on statistical analysis of recent performances.

Elche vs Mallorca (Saturday, 13:00)

Elche and Mallorca will face off in a huge game at the foot of the La Liga table on Saturday afternoon.

The two relegation rivals are deeply embroiled in a congested fight for survival in the Spanish top-flight.

Despite their struggles this season, there has been no shortage of goalmouth action in each of their matches.

That is underlined by the fact that both teams have scored in 20 of Elche’s 28 La Liga fixtures this season, the most recent of which was a 4-1 defeat away at Real Madrid last weekend.

That Bernabeu defeat means that BTTS has now landed in 10 of the hosts’ last 11 league games.

Given that 18 of Mallorca’s 28 matches have also seen both sides contribute to the scoring, all signs point towards a repeat in Alicante.

Feyenoord vs Ajax (Sunday, 13:30)

Feyenoord and Ajax will renew hostilities in the latest edition of De Klassieker on Sunday afternoon.

The two teams are separated by two places and five points in the Eredivisie standings, with Feyenoord five points ahead of their rivals.

Given that this game could go a long way to deciding who finishes as runner-up to PSV and claims the second Champions League spot, an end-to-end encounter could be in store at De Kuip.

Moreover, that has been a familiar theme in Rotterdam this season, with both teams scoring in 10 of Feyenoord’s 14 league matches at home.

The case only strengthens when you look at Ajax’s BTTS strike rate when on their travels in the Dutch top flight this term.

The Amsterdam giants have delivered a winning both teams to score bet in 12 of their league 13 matches away from their capital headquarters.

Real Madrid vs Atletico Madrid (Sunday, 20:00)

Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid will round off this weekend’s La Liga action at the Bernabeu on Sunday night.

Alvaro Arbeloa’s side will aim to stay hot on the heels of Barcelona, whom they will start the weekend four points behind in second place.

I highlighted Real Madrid’s defensive slackness in this column last weekend, which was one of three selections that helped deliver another winning treble.

Those frailties reappeared on Tuesday night in the Champions League when Los Blancos failed to silence 10-man Manchester City, despite emerging from the Etihad with a 2-1 victory.

Now set to face an Atletico Madrid side that have been involved in several high-scoring games of late, backing both teams to score looks the way to attack this all-capital clash.

The fact that this season’s reverse fixture saw Atleti claim a thrilling 5-2 victory only adds to the appeal of another goal-laden contest in Madrid.
