Bundesliga top scorer odds and betting prediction: Catch Kane if you can

With the new 2025-26 Bundesliga season now into its second half, let us take a look at who the bookies' front-runners are to take home the Golden Boot award in May.

Harry Kane

Not only did Harry Kane win the first trophy of his career in the 2024-25 campaign, but he also ended it as the Bundesliga's top goalscorer for the second consecutive season.  The Bayern Munich ace finished comfortably out in front at the top of the Bundesliga goalscoring charts, racking up 26 goals across the season.

The English forward started this season in excellent form, and although he has slowed down slightly over the winter, he still has scored 21 goals in just 18 Bundesliga appearances. Kane is arguably in the form of his life, and the only thing that will stop Kane from winning the Golden Boot in Germany once again this season is a long-term injury.

Serhou Guirassy

Serhou Guirassy ended the 2025/26 season in blistering form, spearheading Borussia Dortmund’s late surge to secure UEFA Champions League (UCL) qualification. The BVB forward banged in his 21st league goal on the final day of the season against Holstein Kiel.

Guirassy hasn't had the best of seasons this time around, thoug,h and as we enter the second half of the campaign, he has just six goals to his name.

Luis Diaz

Bayern Munich's new £65m signing from Liverpool, Luis Diaz, has settled in very quickly at the Allianz Arena. The Colombian international winger has taken Bayern to a new level in terms of intensity, but he has also been a revelation in terms of output.

Patrick Schick

Patrick Schick bagged a brace on the final day of the Bundesliga season last season, meaning that he placed joint-second in the top goalscorer market. The Bayer Leverkusen striker enjoyed an impressive second half of the season, striking 16 times across his last 20 appearances.

Like Guirassy,  it is unlikely that he will offer any kind of competition to Kane this season.

Michael Olise

The third member of Bayern's formidable front three also sneaks into the top five in the betting odds for this season's Bundesliga top scorer. At present, Olise is actually the closest player to Kane in terms of goals, with ten to his name in the league.

While his odds do not exactly offer value, it is hard to look past Kane due to the fact that he is the best striker in the league, has a proven track record, and plays for the club that will almost certainly win the Bundesliga.

Thus, it is probably not worth backing anyone else even at this early stage, unless Kane shows any signs of taking his foot off the gas or if he gets injured.
