Wednesday’s Football Tips: Can English duo strike down Euro giants in women’s Champions League?

It's all about the women's Champions League tonight as Arsenal and Manchester City take on a couple of Euro heavyweights.

The Gunners are the only English side ever to get their hands on the trophy but that triumph came way back in season 2006-07.

They are away to Bayern Munich tonight and will be hoping for a repeat of the quarter-final two years ago when they knocked the German giants out.

Manchester City Women have a daunting task tonight as they bid to take down a Barcelona side who have won this tournament three times in the last four seasons.

City have a decent record in Europe, reaching the semis in their first two cracks at the Champions League, but they lost to Barca in the last eight four seasons ago.

The Catalans were too strong in a 3-0 win at home but City did manage to beat them 2-1 in England and that will give them some hope tonight.

Atletico Mineiro vs Gremio top betting tips

There's not much action in the men's game tonight but we do have one late game in the Brazilian top flight as Atletico Mineiro host Gremio.

This is a mid-table clash, with Atletico sitting in 10th and Gremio just one place and two points behind them.

Mineiro has been a tough venue for opposition teams to visit, with Atletico losing just three of their 19 home games this term. That's why the home win pays just 5/6 at Betfred but combining that with over 1.5 goals boosts the odds to 7/5.

The last meeting was a thriller, with Atletico winning 3-2 in Gremio, so going for goals could pay off too and over 2.5 strikes is 6/5.
