Qarabag vs Newcastle United (Wednesday, 17:45)

Newcastle United make the long trip to Baku to take on this season’s surprise package, Qarabag, in what promises to be an entertaining encounter.

Qarabag’s opening eight league phase matches this campaign have averaged a whopping 4.25 goals per game, with Both Teams to Score landing in five (63%) of them, including in each of their last three on home soil.

Both Teams to Score has also landed in each of Newcastle’s previous three Champions League encounters on their travels, and a repeat pays an appealing 19/20 at bet365.

Bodo Glimt vs Inter (Wednesday, 20:00)

Italian giants Inter Milan travel to the Arctic Circle on Wednesday night to take on Norwegian side Bodo/Glimt at the Aspmyra Stadion in the first leg of their Champions League playoff tie.

Federico Dimarco is having another stellar campaign for the Nerazzurri, scoring six goals and providing an incredible 14 assists across his 32 appearances in all competitions.

Two of those goals and seven of those assists have come across his last five appearances – including a stunning free kick in Dortmund on MD8 – and the 13/10 on offer at bet365 for the Italian international to provide another goal contribution on Wednesday night appeals to me.

Club Brugge vs Atletico Madrid (Wednesday, 20:00)

Atletico Madrid travel to the Jan Breydel Stadion to take on Club Brugge in another clash that looks primed for goals.

Atletico’s opening eight Champions League encounters have averaged an even more impressive 4.00 goals per game, with Both Teams to Score landing in seven (88%) of them – only failing to land at the Emirates on MD3 – whilst seven (88%) have also gone Over 2.5 Goals.

Club Brugge's previous 11 continental clashes have averaged a whopping 4.27 goals per game, with Over 2.5 Goals paying out in all 11 (100%) of them, only failing to score at home to Arsenal and away to both Bayern Munich and Sporting CP, whilst keeping just two shutouts.

Wednesday’s Champions League Tips

  • Qarabag vs Newcastle United – Both Teams to Score 19/20 (bet365)
  • Federico Dimarco to Score or Assist 13/10 (bet365)
  • Club Brugge vs Atletico Madrid – Both Teams to Score & Over 2.5 Goals 10/11 (bet365)
  • Treble Pays 7.5/1
