Things got a little bit squeakier than expected on Tuesday as Bayern and Porto came within a goal of qualifying and forcing extra-time respectively. But PSG and Chelsea prevailed to book their place in the Champions League semi-finals.
Chelsea's reward will be a tie against the winners of Real Madrid's clash with Liverpool. the Reds have a sizeable task at hand, having to overturn a 3-1 first-leg deficit. A packed Anfield would have been rocking for such an occasion but instead, it's been the graveyard of the Reds' dreams this season.
An early goal for Jurgen Klopp's men could make things very interesting but the measure of their task can be seen in the odds with bookies making them 3/1 to qualify. Not usually a big fan of unders but City corners tonight look overpriced.
Last 5 City aways have seen them get 1,6,2,1,3 corners. First leg they had 4. Away average in PL this season is 5.4 per game.
Add to this Dortmund are a stronger team than they would averagely play in PL and are also likely to want to be on front foot due to being behind in the tie and I can see a low total corner count for City

After seeing the line ups I like the look of goals at anfield, you’d struggle to make a decent centre back if you combined the 4 on show while it’s fair to say both sets of full backs better qualities lie in the opposing half (granted valverde is a midfielder filling in) and with Liverpool having the greater need in taking them to have the majority of corners and throwing in a few cards too for an interest.
