Thursday’s Top Tips: Dons Hoping for Swede Dreams

Two goals in the last 15 minutes in Sweden last week have set-up an epic night tie at Pittodrie tonight where Aberdeen and BK Hacken begin level at 2-2 on aggregate.

Surprisingly the bookies have the Swedes as favourites to progress at 3/4 with the Dons at even money to book a place in the Europa League group stages.

Hearts have it all to do in Greece where they need to come from 2-1 down to qualify for the Europa Conference League.

PAOK were impressive at Tynecastle and it would be a monumental result for the Jambos if they were to turn this one around. The bookies don’t rate their chances, making them 10/1 shots to qualify with PAOK at 1/20.

It’s hard to see the Greeks not scoring which means Hearts would need to score at least twice. They’re 10/3 to do so but looks a tall order.

Instead use the 7/10 on Over 2.5 Goals as part of a goals acca.

It’s all over bar the shouting between Aston Villa and Hibs. Last week’s 5-0 defeat to the Premier League side contributed to Lee Johnson being relieved of his duties at the weekend meaning David Gray will be the man in the dugout for the Hibees at Villa Park.

We can probably expect another comfortable win for Villa this evening if they’re up for it. On the Asian Handicap you can get just over evens on Villa -2.5.

We should expect goals at Bodo/Glimt who drew 2-2 with ACS Sepsi last week. The Norwegians are 1/4 to win on the night and Over 2.5 Goals is just 2/5. Over 3.5 could land again at 10/11.

Besiktas and Dynamo Kyiv shared five goals last week with the Turks taking a 3-2 lead in the tie. They should finish the job with a flourish tonight where they’re 1/2 to score two or more.
