It was a goals fest in the Premier League yesterday, 26 goals scored in five matches, all of them going Over 3.5 Goals. Let’s hope for more of the same today.
Following on from a goal-laden midweek it’s now 64 goals scored in 15 matches this week – an average of a whopping 4.26 goals per game (and still there was a 0-0 at Goodison Park among that lot!).
All four of today’s top flight matches to go Over 2.5 Goals pays a healthy 6/1, whilst Over 3.5 is possibly worth a quid at 46/1.

The Gunners start the day five points behind the Reds and can’t afford to fall any further behind. While Liverpool, who’ll be looking over their shoulders at Manchester City, know they can’t afford any slip ups.
Jurgen Klopp’s men have won four of their last five visits to Arsenal but it’s the hosts who are favourites today at 5/4. Liverpool at 2/1 will raise a few punters’ eyebrows.
Liverpool are looking relentless at the moment and have proven they’ve still got plenty of firepower even without Mo Salah. The 4-1 win over Chelsea made it 22 goals in seven games in 2024 and it’s that attacking prowess that could fire them to victory today.
Manchester United won a thriller at Molineux in midweek when 18-year-old Kobbie Mainoo’s 97th minute effort secured all three points. It was a crucial win for Erik ten Hag’s men, keeping them in among the pack hoping to break in to the top five. A win today would see them leapfrog West Ham into sixth.
There’s usually a guarantee of points for the Red Devils when the Hammers come calling, they’re unbeaten in the last 15 meetings between the sides at Old Trafford.
The goals are starting to flow for United too. Their 28 Premier League goals is the fifth lowest in the division but they’ve hit 16 in their last five in all competitions with 8 different players netting.
Keeping goals out at the other is still proving a problem though. Only Sheffield United have conceded more in all competitions than United.
West Ham ended 2023 well but they’ve yet to win in the new year, three draws in the league and an early FA Cup exit to Championship side Bristol City mean they’re not in the best of form so the home side might just edge this one at 8/13.
More appealing is the 13/10 on them do so with Over 2.5 Goals in the match.

Shouldn’t have any issues getting paid out for that Cocker, both teams found the net. Hills take a bit longer paying out bets and generally wait till games conclude probs taking time due to it being a special.
