After 281 days, 360 games and some 1,032 goals it all comes down to this, the final day of the Premier League season.
Champions will be crowned, European places sealed and relegation confirmed on what promises to be a day of twists and turns.
At the top of the table Manchester City‘s task is simple. A win over Aston Villa and they'll retain their Premier League crown. Of course they know all about final day drama at the Etihad but it would be a huge surprise if Steven Gerrard's side could strike a blow that could help hand the title to his former club Liverpool. Villa are 16/1 to win but a draw (7/1) could be enough to open the door for the Reds.
City have won the last eight meetings with Villa by an aggregate 25-4 so they're averaging three goals against them and it's 4/6 that they hit a trio or more this afternoon. It could be a day when Pep's side will try to get the job done early and two or more first half goals appeals at 6/4.
Liverpool know that all they can do is beat Wolves and hope for a slip-up in Manchester. Visitors Wolves have missed out on European football so have nothing but pride to play for. With one eye on next week's Champions League final Jurgen may choose not to rush Van Dijk, Fabinho and Salah, in particular, back today.
Like Man City, the Reds will want to start in smart fashion but it's unlikely goal difference will come in to play so the pressure is off somewhat in terms of trying to run up a cricket score. The Merseysiders have won the last 10 league meetings between the sides, keeping a clean sheet in eight of those. The visitors have found goals hard to come by all season and their 37 goals is the fourth lowest tally in the league. So a Liverpool win to nil at 8/11 looks a good option compared to the 1/7 on a straight win.
At the bottom end of the table Premier League survival is in Burnley‘s hands. Although level with Leeds on points their superior goal difference will ensure their top flight status if they win at home to Newcastle, regardless of what Leeds United do at Brentford.
However, the Magpies are one of the last teams you'd want visiting if you're in need of three points. They've picked up 15 points from the last 21, only losing to Liverpool and Man City in that period. Eddie Howe will want to finish the season on a high that he can take in to next term and they looked overpriced to win at 11/5.
Leeds too could have picked better opponents in their hour of need. Brentford have been in terrific form and could yet finish in the top half of the table which would be a terrific achievement. Based on Leeds predicament the Bees also look overpriced at 11/8 for the home win.
At the Emirates Arsenal can take advantage of an Everton side who'll have been celebrating their survival since Wednesday. The Toffees will have a breathed a huge collective sigh of relief following their brilliant comeback against Crystal Palace on in midweek to maintain their top flight place which they've enjoyed since 1954/55.
Frank Lampard spoke of a need to spend more time with his family after giving his all to battle relegation and he sounded like man ready to switch off for the season. Who could blame him? It could therefore be a bit of a procession for the Gunners who are still holding on to some slim hope of a fourth placed finish. Over 2.5 Arsenal goals at 6/5 is of interest.
There could be goals in plenty of other games too, especially in Spurs visit to Norwich and at Crystal Palace v Manchester United.

I cant see Villa just sitting back today
It’s the last day of Polish Division 1 (11.40am) & Polish Division 2 (11.30am) today.
Prices for the collective > 1.5 goals markets are a bit thin, but there may be some value in the over 0.5 FHG & GIBH markets. The following prices are with William Hill, and I’m only chucking a quid or two on “just in case” 😉
Polish Division 1:
Over 0.5 FHG – 18/1
GIBH – 155/1
Polish Division 2:
Over 0.5 FHG – 10/1
GIBH – 53/1
Typically, 8/9 games came in for Division 1 & 7/8 games Division 2 🤣
Sickening when that happens mate lol was following myself
Posted my tips for today on Friday’s thread.
A bonkers bet from me for today
Man City
Spurs
Leicester
all 3 games over 4.5 goals at 47/1
Also like Son to score and spurs to win at 10/11 looks a banker as Son chases the golden boot,if Salah doesn’t play then i would be even more confident on this bet.
Good luck for today lads lets hope Villa can pull off an almighty shock.
Superb shout on 47/1 macca
Had a fiver on it and it saved my whole afternoon :D
Great end to a great season Macca!
Well done mate 🍻
Never in doubt lol cheers lads
Liverpool v Wolves
Well where do you start with Wolves? Relegation form for the past two months. Wouldn’t be surprised if Lage is given the boot over this next week. A few of the players know they won’t be at the club next season – Marcal, Saiss, Ruddy will be off on frees. Traore and Neves will inevitably go. So many distractions, poor form, nothing to play for. Combine that with a Liverpool side, who rested players midweek and to a degree there’s no pressure on them. Everyone expects Man City to dispatch of Villa, all the reds can do is win their game. I can’t see Wolves posing them too many problems.
Bet Builder:
Liverpool Over 2.5 Goals, Over 2.5 Liverpool 1st half corners, Over 4.5 Liverpool corners, Liverpool to win both halves.
Liverpool -2, 11/10, SkyBet.
Liverpool -3, 11/4, SkyBet.
I’ll be backing Jota to score if he plays today as well.
Two very similar bets from me today. It’s hard to decide what to call the NAP but I’ve gone with my gut.
🏴Man City v Villa🏴
🔘Bet: Man C win/over 1.5 match goals/over 8.5 Villa goal kicks – bet builder: 20/23 (B365)
💰NAP ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Like Liverpool, there’s zero value for Man C at 1/6 but add in over 1.5 match goals (odds are better than over 1.5 Man City goals for some reason), over 8.5 Wolves goal kicks and there’s definite value to be had.
This game is surely going to be one way traffic from the off. Personally I can’t see past a comfortable Man City win and a whole load of dominance with it. I’m hoping that dominance will take care of the added corners and goal kick sections.
Man City regularly force their opponents to have plenty of goal kicks. Here’s a list of some recent goal kicks opponents have had:
17,9,16,6,9,10,11,15,10,9,14,10 – the list goes on like this all season.
In a game where they should be on the front foot all game, adding in over 8.5 Villa goal kicks seems a clever way of getting a 1/3 bet up to even money.
________________________________________________
🏴Liverpool v Wolves 🏴
🔘Bet: Liverpool win/over 1.5 Liverpool goals/over 8.5 Wolves goal kicks/ o3.5 Liverpool corners – bet builder: 4/5 (B365)
💰NB ⭐️⭐️⭐️
There’s no value at all in Liverpool at 1/6 but add in over Liverpool 1.5 goals, over 8.5 Wolves goal kicks and over 3.5 Liverpool corners and you’ve got a nice bet builder at a shade under evens.
Over their last 15 games, Liverpool forced their opponents in to an average of 10 Goal kicks. That figure is way higher, at home, against lesser teams.
Finally, Liverpool average 8.06 corners at home so should coast to just 4.
Fingers crossed everyone
I forgot to add my long shot:
🔘🇳🇴Norwegian Eliteserien match corners 4 fold:
8/1 (Skybet)
– Sarpsborg v Aalesunds – 10+ Match corners
– Stromgodset v Valereng 11+ Match corners

Just for pure entertainment value, 50+ booking points in each Premier League game this afternoon is 601,964/1
All it takes is a few red cards….
Putting the minimum 5p stake on could return £30,098.25 if wins 👍🤣
Oops, should add that’s with SkyBet – adding the games individually in their accumulator.
Good luck Chris
Actually, it’s an interesting situation. On one hand, refs can be a little lenient on the last day of school.
But equally, some teams are desperate and the cards get reset at the end of today anyway. Logically, you’d expect the card count to be a little higher than normal, yet the bookies (who are generally right) seem to think otherwise.
Should be interesting to look at the results after all the games are over – although you can guarantee there will be at least 1 game with no cards at all to stuff up all the ACCAs 😉
or be a baller n stick 10p on it 🤑
Had 34+ goals, over 0.5 fhgs each game, goal in both halves all games and over 1.5 goals every game, all land in French ligue 1 last night, trying the same bets in premiership this afternoon 👍
Not sure if anyone was on it, but 3 corners in each half also landed – it was nail-biting though, as 9/10 games were in except for the PSG game which only had 1 second half corner up to around the 88th minute. Miraculously, PSG then got 2 corners in stoppage time!
3+ corners taken in each half with Skybet was 18/1, but I also had a couple of quid on another Skybet special:
Over 1.5 goals in each game and 3+ corners taken in each half in each game 80/1
Most of their specials are pie in the sky, but with potentially huge odds it’s sometimes worth investing a couple of quid on the offchance 😉
