Will Rennes and Lille lose their places in the top six against lesser sides? Will Nantes end their winless run against newcomers Le Havre? And will Lyon put their name next to the title favourites with a 14th consecutive win?

Find out the answers to these and many other questions in our expert predictions for all five Ligue 1 clashes on Sunday.

Today’s Ligue 1 betting tips & predictions

Auxerre vs. Rennes (2pm)

Auxerre are undefeated in the last three, but we have to note that they faced two other relegation-threatened teams and an out-of-form Toulouse.

Rennes ended their three-match winless run by beating champions PSG, so they should be confident against a team from the bottom. However, their recent away run leaves many questions, given that they scored only once in their last three trips.

Auxerre’s recent improvement hints at a potential low-scoring clash, in which they will rely on defence. Backing a team to win is out of the question, so we will opt for an under.

Auxerre vs. Rennes top betting tip: Under 2.5 goals

Angers vs. Lille (4:15pm)

While Angers are currently 12th in the league, they are just five points behind Europe, and a win over a Lille in disarray could skyrocket them into contention.

The Mastiffs haven’t won a Ligue 1 match since December, and even lost to Crvena zvezda at home in the Champions League this week. Angers have improved immensely, despite losing to Lorient last week.

Once again, we expect a low-scoring exchange, especially with Lille’s problems in attack.

Angers vs. Lille top betting tip: Under 2.5 goals

Nantes vs. Le Havre (4:15pm)

Nantes suffered six defeats in a row since they beat Marseille in their first fixture of 2026, and relegation feels evercloser with each passing week.

Le Havre can feel safe for the time being, given that they are now closer to the top six than the drop zone. But they remain the second-worst visitor in the league, with a single win in 10 games, and only five goals scored.

But given the fact that Nantes are the weakest hosts and concede an average of two goals per home game, we can expect some action. We wouldn’t dare back a winner here, but both teams to score is a great option.

Nice vs. Lorient (4:15pm)

Nice need to win some points to extend the gap to the drop zone, but a Lorient side that’s looking towards Europe will be a proper challenge.

The only positive in the home camp has been their performance at home. While they don’t always win, Nice have not lost at home in six consecutive matches in all competitions. Lorient, in turn, have only lost two of their last 15 competitive fixtures.

Once more, we will look for an alternative and bet on goals. Five of Nice’s last six home matches saw both teams score.

Strasbourg vs. Lyon (7:45pm)

Lyon look unstoppable after 13 consecutive wins across all competitions, but Strasbourg are one of the strongest home teams in the league.

The Racers have produced some incredible results at home, and judging by their performances, we can expect a goal-packed match. Seven of their last eight home matches featured goals from both sides.

Moreover, nine of the last 10 H2Hs also featured goals from both sides. This has been one of our favourite rivalries to bet on goals in recent years.

Strasbourg vs. Lyon top betting tip: BTTS, Over 2.5 goals
