Will PSG continue to struggle in Ligue 1, or will this week’s resounding victory in the Champions League see them return to winning ways on the domestic front as well?
We’ll find out the answer to that question late on Sunday, but before then we have two other interesting fixtures to look forward to, featuring Lille and Lens.
Continue reading below for our expert tips and predictions for all three Ligue 1 fixtures on Sunday.
Today’s Ligue 1 betting tips & predictions
Lille vs. Troyes (2pm)
Lille began their new Champions League campaign with a home defeat to Real Betis, and now need to make it up to their fans with a win against Troyes.
The visitors are coming off an even heavier defeat, having conceded six goals against Strasbourg in the last round. Overall, their start to the season hasn’t been too bad so far, but their real defensive problems have finally come to the fore.
Lille will be tired, but they have no excuse not to beat Troyes on Sunday. A win could even propel them to the top of the table.

Le Mans vs. Lens (4:15pm)
Hardly anyone expected Le Mans to win many games at the start of the season, but certainly no one expected Lens to be doing so badly, especially after they won the Super Cup against PSG.
These are two teams who know each other well from the past, but haven’t faced each other since 2019. Back then, every match between them was a thriller, with nine of the last ten featuring at least three goals.
Lens look vulnerable at the moment and, in my view, Le Mans will have enough chances to score at least one goal.

Brest vs. PSG (7:45pm)
How many more slip-ups can PSG afford before things start to look worrying? They are already seven points behind the leaders, and their fixture list is only set to get busier.
Brest have not had a bad start to the season and remain unbeaten. It’s striking how well they’re playing in attack, which suggests they could well score against PSG.
However, there are also noticeable problems in defence, and the Parisians must capitalise on every mistake. After their 6–1 victory in the Champions League, they should be fired up and motivated for more.
