Sunday promises action on all fronts, but some of the most intriguing fixtures on the schedule are in La Liga.
Celta Vigo and Malaga are both looking for their first win, whilst Levante will be hoping to end their poor run against Barcelona. Later in the day, Getafe host La Coruna, and Real Sociedad face Atletico Madrid.
Below, you’ll find our expert tips and predictions for each of La Liga matches.
Today’s La Liga betting tips & predictions
Celta Vigo vs. Malaga (1pm)
Celta Vigo and Malaga had similar starts to the season and are still without a win. Whilst this might have been expected of Malaga, certainly no one expected it from the Sky Blues.
They have scored just two goals in five matches, and they are a team that is usually competitive. Malaga, for their part, have scored just one goal in four matches and in most of them weren’t even close to scoring.
I’d be genuinely surprised if we saw more than two goals in this match, given the total lack of cutting edge in both attacks.
Celta Vigo vs. Malaga top betting tip: Under 2.5 goals
Levante vs. Barcelona (3:15pm)
Levante are a real enigma when it comes to their performances. Two 0–0 draws, sandwiched between a 5–2 victory over Real Betis, who are certainly set to be in the race for the top four.
Barcelona, meanwhile, look like the team in the best form across Europe’s top leagues and have scored five goals in four of their five matches so far.
I’m going to take a risk and bet on both teams to score. Not because Levante stand much of a chance, but simply because I expect Barcelona to rotate their squad somewhat, and if they take an early lead, they’ll surely ease off the pace.

Getafe vs. La Coruna (5:30pm)
La Coruna has been the pleasant surprise of the first few rounds and are still unbeaten after four matches. The best thing is that they’ve been treating us to plenty of goals too.
Getafe have made a slow start to the season and it seems their early exit from European competition has had a negative impact on them. Nevertheless, they remain one of the most consistent home sides in the league.
In my opinion, we’ll see a very closely fought match and, given the visitors’ form, a draw seems a reasonable outcome. But above all, I reckon that regardless of the final result, we’ll see goals at both ends.

Real Sociedad vs. Atletico Madrid (8pm)
The day concludes with a titanic clash between Real Sociedad and Atletico Madrid, who have swapped roles in recent weeks.
Real Sociedad had a poor start to the season, but now seem to be in much better form. Atletico started strongly, but have now suffered two consecutive away defeats.
This looks set to be the best match for betting on goals this round, and in my opinion, both standard markets are worth a bet. I’d even take a chance on a home win, but I’ll make up my mind once I’ve seen the line-ups.
