Sunday’s fixtures include three more Bundesliga matches, featuring one of the league’s modern derbies and clashes between the league’s newcomers.
The most exciting fixture will undoubtedly be the one between Bayer Leverkusen and RB Leipzig, but the match between Schalke and Elversberg is certainly worth keeping an eye on as well.

Bayer Leverkusen vs. RB Leipzig (2:30pm)
Bayer Leverkusen and RB Leipzig are going through a similar period of change – and, for the time being, not without their mistakes – but they remain two of the most dangerous teams in the league.
RB Leipzig have had considerably more time to rest, as there were no Champions League matches this week, whilst Bayer Leverkusen played their first Europa League match during the week.
But this is unlikely to be a significant factor when it comes to goals. The last six matches between these two sides have featured at least four goals, with both teams always finding the net.

Schalke vs. Elversberg (4:30pm)
Schalke and Elversberg are the newcomers to the Bundesliga this season, but they have started their campaigns in very different ways.
Schalke finally secured their first win with a thrashing of Union Berlin, whilst Elversberg won their first two matches and put up a strong fight against Bayern Munich in their only defeat.
These two sides have played a total of three seasons together in the lower division, and their matches have always been very closely contested. Five of their six meetings have seen goals at both ends.

Paderborn vs. Hoffenheim (6:30pm)
Paderborn are the latest newcomers to the top flight and have had the worst start of all so far. Not only are they still searching for their first win, but they have yet to score a single goal.
Hoffenheim are in very inconsistent form, having lost their first Europa League match against OFI Crete this week, which was somewhat of a surprise. Their biggest problems lie in their away form, which could set the stage for a strong performance from the home side.
For this reason, I’ll go for over 0.5 goals for Paderborn, which offers some value, albeit not a great deal.
