Round 21 of the Bundesliga already presented multiple surprises, including Stuttgart’s defeat away at relegation-threatened St Pauli.
This result opens a huge opportunity for RB Leipzig to crawl back to the top four when they visit the inconsistent FC Koln. Meanwhile, Bayern Munich will try to get back into the winning column against a Hoffenheim side that’s never looked better.
Head down below for our expert tips and predictions for Sunday’s Bundesliga clashes.
Today’s Bundesliga betting tips & predictions
FC Koln vs. RB Leipzig (2:30pm)
While FC Koln are now in a seemingly safe position in the middle of the table, they remain two defeats away from the drop zone. Their inconsistent form makes them a difficult team to predict, as they have alternated wins and defeats since the start of 2026.
Stuttgart left the door open for RB Leipzig to return to the top four, but their away form makes it hard to expect an outright win. The Red Bulls won just one of their last five Bundesliga away games.
RB Leipzig hold an interesting league record: they have never lost against a newly-promoted team, winning 33 of their 38 matches against such opposition (D5).
FC Koln vs. RB Leipzig top betting tip: Over 1.5 RB Leipzig goals
Bayern Munich vs. Hoffenheim (4:30pm)
Only once before in their history have Hoffenheim won five Bundesliga matches in a row. Not to mention that they scored 14 goals across these games. They have much to prove yet, as they remain winless against the current top four teams.
Bayern Munich suffered back-to-back setbacks against low-placed rivals, going 2-2 away at Hamburger after losing to Augsburg at home. With Borussia Dortmund now three points behind them, Vincent Kompany’s team needs to find its old form.
Christian Ilzer has not had much luck against Kompany’s Bayern, as his Hoffenheim lost the last three H2Hs, conceding 4+ goals in each defeat.
