The Bologna defender has stayed true to form on the continental stage from a fouls perspective, racking up seven offences over his side’s games with both Shakhtar Donetsk and Liverpool respectively. Foul-based backers will also be familiar with Posch from Euro 2024, where he sinned 10 times over Austria’s four outings at the summer showpiece.
Remo Freuler – Over 0.5 Fouls Committed
Moving over to the middle of the park, I’ll round off the Bet Builder with Bologna’s Remo Freuler to also get himself on the wrong side of the referee. The Swiss midfield schemer has committed a foul once or more in six of his eight Serie A outings this season, and that was also the case in the aforementioned stalemate with Shakhtar Donetsk.
Freuler was another player who was a frequent offender at Euro 2024 earlier this summer, clocking up 10 fouls for Switzerland en-route to the quarter-final stage. The Bologna midfield enforcer will likely be assigned a shackling job on Aston Villa’s Morgen Rogers, who has been fouled at least once in nine of his 10 outings this term.
