The all-action Cardiff midfielder was guilty of two offences against Swindon in the EFL Cup last weekend. Looking further back, Colwill committed an average of 1.31 fouls per game in League One last season, while also picking up seven yellow cards along the way. He should have no shortage of defensive work to get through in what should be an intense midfield battle in the Welsh capital on Monday night.
On top of that, Colwill is likely to find himself up against Wrexham's Lewis O'Brien, who averaged 1.68 fouls drawn per 90 in the Championship last season.

This should be a real blood and thunder derby under the Cardiff lights on Monday night, which makes both teams to receive a card an appealing way to complete the double. There is little love lost between these two Welsh rivals, while both clubs will be desperate to make a fast start to the new Championship campaign.
Cardiff averaged 1.74 cards per game in the second tier last season, and I can see that figure climbing now that they're back up against stronger opposition. Wrexham, meanwhile, averaged 1.57 yellow cards per game during their first season in the Championship, although that number rose significantly to 1.91 when playing away from their Racecourse Ground home.
Referee Andrew Kitchen is not exactly renowned for dishing out cards, but he did average 3.07 yellow cards per game in the Championship last season. With the intensity likely to be cranked up a notch in this all-Welsh clash, I'm expecting both sides to find their way into the referee's notebook.
