Sky Super 6 challenge

We already see a number of bookmakers offering punters some great prizes for correctly guessing six scores in upcoming Premier League games.

With that in mind, we have decided to take up the Skybet Super 6 Challenge.

Here are this week's selections.

Our Skybet Super 6 Challenge predictions

Man City vs West Ham

West Ham face a challenging trip to Manchester City as they struggle with a depleted strike force, with both Michail Antonio and Jarrod Bowen sidelined due to long-term injuries. The Hammers currently sit 14th in the league for xPTS this season and 13th for away xPTS and bottom for xPTS over the last four games.

Manchester City, meanwhile, ended their recent poor run with a win against Leicester in their last outing, starting strongly but faltering in the second half.

West Ham’s away form has been mixed, recording W3-D3-L3 on the road, including victories over Crystal Palace, Newcastle, and Southampton. City, despite their struggles over the past few months, boast a solid home record of W5-D2-L2, with defeats coming against Spurs and Manchester United. However, they have secured home wins against Ipswich, Brentford, Fulham, Southampton, and Nottingham Forest.

Given West Ham’s attacking injury concerns and City’s strength at home, the odds heavily favour a City victory in this matchup.

Crystal Palace vs Chelsea

Crystal Palace have lost just twice in their last 11 games and appear to be gradually climbing away from the relegation zone toward mid-table safety. While they have only managed two home wins this season, they have found the net in their last four matches at Selhurst Park, with both teams scoring in each of those games. Goals remain hard to come by at home for Palace, with just nine scored overall.

Chelsea, on the other hand, have struggled defensively, conceding in seven of their 10 away matches. Their recent form has been disappointing, including a poor performance against Ipswich and a three-game winless streak.

Given Palace’s ability to score at home and Chelsea’s shaky defence, this matchup has the makings of a low-scoring draw, with Palace likely to get on the scoresheet.

  • Score 1-1 at 7.5 with Skybet

Aston Villa vs Leicester City

Aston Villa rank second for home xPTS this season, trailing only Arsenal. They have lost just once at Villa Park all season—a 2-0 defeat to Arsenal in their opening home game. Since then, their home record stands at W5-D4-L0, with just 10 goals conceded across those nine matches.

Leicester, on the other hand, appear to be in serious trouble. They currently sit third-bottom in expected points for the season and rank 16th over the last eight matches. New manager Ruud van Nistelrooy has struggled to turn things around, with the team losing their last four games, conceding 12 goals and scoring just once during that run.

Villa have already secured home victories against Everton, Wolves, Brentford, Southampton, and Manchester City. Given Leicester’s poor form, Villa should have little difficulty claiming another three points against the Foxes.

  • Score 3-0 at 8.5 with Skybet

Brighton vs Arsenal

Brighton have scored in seven of their nine home matches this season, with both teams finding the net in those same seven games. Overall, the Seagulls have scored in 17 of their 19 fixtures, with only Brentford and Ipswich managing to keep them out in 0-0 draws.

Arsenal, meanwhile, are on an impressive 12-game unbeaten run across all competitions. However, their defensive record on the road has been shaky, having conceded in each of their last eight away matches.

This matchup is poised for both teams to score, but Arsenal are likely to edge it and come out on top.

  • Score 1-2 at 8.0 with Skybet

Fulham vs Ipswich Town

Fulham have managed just two wins in their last eight Premier League matches. At home, they hold a record of W4-D4-L2, with both teams scoring in 9 of their 10 matches at Craven Cottage. Over the last eight games, Fulham rank fourth in xPTS.

Ipswich, meanwhile, have struggled for consistency but will take confidence from their recent 2-0 victory over Chelsea. The Tractor Boys have won two of their nine away matches, losing five, and have scored in six of those games, failing to find the net only against Arsenal, Nottingham Forest, and Brighton.

With Ipswich recently adopting a more defensive setup, they could replicate their strong performance against Chelsea, get on the scoresheet, and possibly earn a point from this encounter.

  • Score 1-1 at 8.0 with Skybet

Liverpool vs Man Utd

Liverpool vs Manchester United looks set to heavily favour the home side. United have struggled under new manager Ruben Amorim, and if he persists with a central midfield pairing of Eriksen and Casemiro, Liverpool could exploit their lack of mobility and dominate the game.

Liverpool’s form this season has been outstanding, with a record of W20-D3-L1 across all competitions, conceding only six goals in the Premier League at Anfield. At home, they have been particularly formidable, losing just once in 13 matches and winning 11.

United, on the other hand, have been poor on the road, managing only two wins from nine away matches. These include a fortunate 2-1 win over Manchester City and a 3-0 victory against bottom-placed Southampton. They have also lost their last four games in all competitions and failed to score in their last three Premier League away matches. United have been goalless in eight of their 19 games this season, and another shutout seems likely.

This game appears to be less about the outcome—almost certain to be a Liverpool win—and more about how many goals Liverpool can score.

  • Score 3-0 at 9.0 with Skybet

The total odds for all six games are a massive 312,120 with Skybet, which may be worth a £1 stake for some fun, I am keen to back both Arsenal and Man City to win 2-1 and these two games combined give you odds of 68.0 with Skybet.
