The traditional afternoon slate sees title contenders and top-four hopefuls in action, highlighted by Manchester City hosting Brighton. Elsewhere, Bournemouth take on Leeds United, while Brentford, Tottenham, and Aston Villa also play host to crucial fixtures across the division.

Saturday’s Premier League betting tips and predictions
Chelsea vs. Manchester United (12:30)

Chelsea looked to have turned a corner following the international break, as they thrashed Bournemouth 5-1 at Stamford Bridge before winning 0-2 in Merseyside against Everton.
However, Xabi Alonso’s hosts suffered a rare defeat at home to Spurs last weekend, before exiting the EFL Cup in midweek on penalties against Liverpool at Anfield.

Tip one: Both teams to score & Over 2.5 goals
The Blues’ opening eight Premier League fixtures this season have averaged an eye-catching 4.00 goals per game, with Over 2.5 Goals landing in six (75%) of them, only keeping one clean sheet and failing to score just once also.
Tip two: Andrey Santos to be shown a card
The Brazilian has been booked in each of his last three appearances for Manchester United, and he looks like decent value at 15/8 to be shown a card once again on Saturday.
Bournemouth vs Leeds (15:00)

The Cherries gave new manager Marco Rose his first top-flight victory at the sixth attempt with a 2-0 win over Sunderland in their last home game.
They followed that up with an impressive 3-0 win over Manchester United last weekend, lifting them to 13th in the table and three points above the relegation zone.

Tip one: Tyler Adams to commit 2+ fouls
Tyler Adams has committed at least two fouls in four of his last six Premier League appearances for Bournemouth, so he looks decent value to do so again here at 5/6 with bet365.
Tip two: Dominic Calvert-Lewin to commit 2+ fouls
Dominic Calvert-Lewin brings plenty of aggression to the Leeds attack and has committed multiple fouls in three of their four Premier League away games this season.
Tip three: Over 3 cards
Bournemouth have been the most ill-disciplined side in the Premier League this season, with six of their opening eight top-flight games featuring at least four bookings.
Brentford vs Nottingham Forest (15:00)

Brentford are in a significantly better position than Nottingham Forest, but this is down to their strong start to the season. In their last four matches, however, they have failed to win, and their defence has not been up to scratch.

Tip one: BTTS
Nottingham Forest are the team with the fewest goals scored, but they have scored every single one of their goals away from home.
Tip two: Brentford to win
Playing away at the Community Stadium is no easy task, and I expect the Bees to take all three points, though by no more than a one-goal margin.
Tip three: Igor Thiago 3+ shots
In his last five matches for the team, Igor Thiago has scored two goals and provided two assists. Last season, he scored Brentford’s only goal in the two matches against Nottingham Forest.
Coventry vs Sunderland (15:00)

Coventry have collected six points from eight Premier League fixtures, winning twice and losing six times. Their 4-1 home victory over Newcastle United remains the outstanding result of their campaign, but the Sky Blues have found it difficult to reproduce that attacking performance.

Tip one: Under 2.5 goals
Coventry's six league goals, Sunderland's three consecutive blanks and the modest attacking performances of both teams provide a stronger argument for a relatively low-scoring match than their defensive weaknesses initially suggest.
Tip two: Sunderland DNB
Sunderland's defensive statistics could allow Coventry to enjoy a more productive afternoon than their overall attacking record suggests. However, the home side have rarely demonstrated the finishing efficiency required to capitalise on such opportunities.
Tip three: Brandon Thomas-Asante over 1.5 fouls won
Brandon Thomas-Asante was fouled at least twice in each of his last four appearances (2,4, 2, 4).
Hull vs Ipswich (15:00)

Hull are without a victory in four Premier League matches and have registered just two shots on target across their last two fixtures. That is a particularly concerning return for a side attempting to turn home advantage into three points.
The Tigers have won only twice in eight league games, drawing four. Three of their opening four home matches have also finished level, demonstrating how frequently they have struggled to turn competitive performances into victories.

Tip one: Ipswich DNB
With Hull struggling to create chances and Ipswich facing a more manageable opponent than several of their previous away fixtures, the visitors have a credible opportunity to secure another victory.
Tip two: Over 2.5 goals
Hull have scored in six of their eight matches, demonstrating an ability to find the net even when their overall chance creation has been limited. Ipswich have conceded 16 goals across eight league matches, allowing an average of 1.97 xGA and 3.75 big chances per fixture.
Tip three: BTTS & Both teams to collect a card
Hull average 2.63 cards per match this season, while Ipswich average 1.88. Given the positions of the two sides, this could be a much more tense clash.
Manchester City vs Brighton (15:00)

Three days on from their EFL Cup tie, joint Premier League leaders Manchester City welcome third-placed Brighton back to the Etihad, this time in the Premier League.

Tip one: Erling Haaland to score anytime & Over 2.5 goals
Erling Haaland has once again been in scintillating form for Manchester City this season, finding the back of the net in each of his previous seven appearances for the team, scoring 13 goals.
Tip two: Over 3.5 goals
Manchester City’s previous six matches at the Etihad have averaged a whopping 5.67 goals per game, with Over 3.5 Goals landing on each occasion.
Tottenham vs Crystal Palace (17:30)

Roberto De Zerbi’s new-look side have taken time to find their feet this season, but there are now signs of life.
Last weekend brought their best performance under the Italian so far, as they secured a well-deserved 2-0 win away at Chelsea, which followed a 3-1 victory over Coventry.

Tip one: Mohammed Kudus 1+ shots on target
Mohammed Kudus is a player who likes to pull the trigger, and he looks worthy of support to hit the target at least once during this all-London affair at 8/11.
Tip two: Mohammed Kudus to be fouled 2+ times
The Spurs forward has been fouled twice or more in three of his last six Premier League appearances, including each of Spurs’ last two home games.
Tip three: Chris Richards to commit 1+ fouls
Chris Richards has committed at least one foul in four of his last five Premier League appearances for Crystal Palace.
Aston Villa vs Fulham (20:00)

The mood at Villa Park has changed considerably following Aston Villa's victory over Manchester City, but Saturday's visit from Fulham presents a different test.
The Premier League encounter kicks off at 20:00 on Saturday, with both clubs seeking to maintain their recent league improvement after disappointing midweek cup exits.

Tip one: Aston Villa to win
Villa's recent league victories against demanding opponents suggest greater effectiveness in decisive moments. Fulham's limited away scoring and Villa's ability to turn close matches into wins provide the clearest justification for backing the hosts.
Tip two: Aston Villa to score over 1.5 goals
Aston Villa’s recent games have shown an improvement on their return, and the recent triumph over Man City should influence another strong home showing.
Tip three: Matty Cash 2+ fouls committed
Matty Cash’s recent performances have not been clean, with three and four fouls committed in his last two Premier Leagye appearances.
