Little by little, the La Liga table is returning to its usual order, and the usual favourites for European places are hitting form.
We’ve got a rather interesting round of fixtures ahead of us, with four exciting clashes on Saturday to keep us entertained all day long.

Today’s La Liga betting tips & predictions
Osasuna vs. Rayo Vallecano (1pm)
Following a fantastic start with two wins and a draw, Osasuna have gone into disarray, losing three straight while conceding 11 goals. Boss Luis Miguel Ramis has been doing major tests with his squad, considering that he changed eight players for the past match, and so far, he has not found a solution.
Rayo Vallecano have also had their fair share of fun, as all six of their matches have featured goals from both sides. The fact remains that they only play well at home, while losing all three away games so far.
I believe this is Osasuna’s best chance to step out of the mud, but I also believe it is too great a risk to back them. Betting on goals seems to be the correct approach right now, after what both sides produced lately.

Athletic Bilbao vs. Alaves (3:15pm)
Athletic Bilbao were supposed to face Levante on Wednesday, but their stadium got flooded, and the match was postponed. This means that the Lions had a whole week to rest, while Alaves had a tough midweek match.
This should play well into the hands of the hosts, who are on a high after two wins and a draw. Alaves, meanwhile, suffered back-to-back defeats, and the worst part is that they lost to teams from the bottom.
I believe Athletic Bilbao will take advantage of the extra rest and take the three points here, but not without some action on both ends. Alaves have been good away from home, and we can expect at least a goal from them.

Celta Vigo vs. Racing Santander (5:30pm)
Racing Santander have had all the fun in the world in the first few weeks of the season, as they fixtures have averaged 4.5 goals per match. The problem, of course, is that their defence is now the tied-worst with 16 conceded goals in six rounds. But they have also scored a surprising number of goals at 11.
Celta Vigo have had a completely different start and are one of only three teams without a win after six rounds. The single positive is that their defence is tied with the best in the league. The negative, respectively, is that they have only scored three goals so far – the second-lowest in the league.
Yet, somehow, bookmakers believe Celta Vigo to be massive favourites, which creates an opportunity for us. I believe Racing Santander will score at least one goal in this match. I wouldn’t risk betting on more than that, but that’s a solid pick.

Sevilla vs. Barcelona (8:00pm)
Sevilla are one of several sides that are tied for the best defence, which has helped them to a sensational start with four wins in six rounds. But that defensive record will be put to the ultimate test against Barcelona.
Barce have gone on a scoring spree and already have 33 goals scored in seven matches in all competitions. In five out of seven, they scored 5+ goals. Raphinha has been on a level of his own too, with 11 goals and three assists in that period.
I’m surprised to see 13/20 for Both teams to score here, especially considering that Barcelona conceded goals in four out of their last five fixtures. In 3/5, they conceded two goals. The last five H2Hs featured goals from both sides, and the last four featured 5+ goals each. And last but not least, Sevilla are in their best shape in years.
