Athletic Bilbao vs. Atletico Madrid (3:15pm)
We couldn’t have asked for a more intriguing start to the day than this clash, and expectations are certainly high following Atletico Madrid’s strong start.
Athletic Bilbao secured their first win of the season away at Celta Vigo and should be motivated for their return to home turf. Atletico Madrid, however, are still unbeaten and look impressively dangerous in attack.
In my view, we’re in for an exciting clash in which we’re likely to see goals, but the odds on Atletico Madrid are far too tempting to pass up.

Rayo Vallecano vs. Racing Santander (5:30pm)
The problems at Rayo Vallecano are at every level, starting with the fans’ protests and the ban on playing at their own ground due to safety concerns. On the pitch, meanwhile, they are struggling against every opponent.
This presents an opportunity for newly promoted Racing Santander, who have finally recorded a win. Rayo Vallecano have won the last four head-to-head encounters, but those matches were over five years ago.
Right now, I believe we could see an upset from the visitors, but what I’m most looking forward to is seeing some goals.

Villarreal vs. La Coruna (8:00pm)
No one expected Villarreal to be without a win after the first three rounds, but here we are. Given that the upcoming match against Deportivo La Coruna will be their first home game, perhaps it’s time to see a more convincing performance.
But the visitors have started the season quite well and remain unbeaten in three matches. I’d also say that La Coruna can only regret not having won all three of their matches so far, because they certainly had the chance.
All of this leads me to conclude that we’re likely to see goals in this match. Villarreal are dangerous in attack, but the visitors are also performing well.
