Every single one of Saturday’s Bundesliga matches is worth watching, as each game is crucial—either for the teams fighting to avoid relegation or for those vying for a spot in next year’s Champions League.
Bayern Munich will be looking to clinch the title as soon as possible, while Borussia Dortmund aims to secure the title of the best of the rest. Wolfsburg and Werder Bremen face off in a tough battle at the bottom, while Heidenheim will attempt to launch a final push for survival.
The lack of high-profile matches this weekend shouldn’t worry you, because the games offer great opportunities. Check out our expert tips and predictions for all Bundesliga matches below.
Today’s Bundesliga betting tips & predictions
Bayern Munich vs. Union Berlin (2:30pm)
Bayern Munich are just a few wins away from clinching the title early, but Union Berlin are far from being their easiest opponents lately.
Having secured their spot in the next round of the Champions League with an aggregate score of 10–2, the Bavarians must defeat Union, who snatched a point from them a few months ago in the reverse fixture.
Instead of wasting our time with the low odds on the standard markets, we’ll focus our bet on Harry Kane to score, who made a spectacular return from injury with a brace against Atalanta.
Bayern Munich vs. Union Berlin top betting tip: Harry Kane to score
FC Koln vs. Borussia Monchengladbach (2:30pm)
FC Cologne's poor form has left them just one point above the relegation zone, and Borussia Monchengladbach are also not out of the woods, sitting four points clear.
This matchup is defined by the fierce rivalry between the two sides in recent years and the high number of goals they consistently score against each other.
Nine of their last 10 matches have featured both Over 2.5 goals and goals scored by both teams. The first match of the season ended 3-1 in favor of Borussia.
FC Koln vs. Borussia Monchengladbach top betting tip: BTTS, Over 2.5 goals
Heidenheim vs. Bayer Leverkusen (2:30pm)
Heidenheim’s time is running out and Bayer Leverkusen are the worst possible opponent to host at this stage.
Unless FCH win all eight of their remaining games, they will go down. Even if they win 8/8, they are still likely to be relegated, and they have never won a single point against Bayer Leverkusen.
Die Werkself missed a huge opportunity to beat Bayern Munich last week, and then got eliminated from the UCL this week. The goal now is to get back to the top four, and also try to win the DFB Pokal on the side. The three points are mandatory this weekend.
Heidenheim vs. Bayer Leverkusen top betting tip: Bayer Leverkusen to win
Wolfsburg vs. Werder Bremen (2:30pm)
Wolfsburg’s winless streak has put them at serious risk of getting relegated from the Bundesliga for the first time since getting promoted in 1997. And this week, they face another of the top flight’s mainstays, Werder Bremen, who are also fighting to escape the drop this season.
Unlike the Wolves, the River Islanders recently got back-to-back wins, which boosted them above the relegation zone. The one positive is that Wolfsburg have been scoring more goals, which makes us confident that we can expect another goal-packed H2H.
Eight of the last 10 H2Hs produced Over 2.5 goals and featured goals from both sides. With this being a crucial clash for both sides, we anticipate some action.
Wolfsburg vs. Werder Bremen top betting tip: BTTS
Borussia Dortmund vs. Hamburger (5:30pm)
Even with Bayern Munich’s misstep last weekend, BVB are still nine points behind them, and it is fair to say that second place is the best they could hope for. Hamburger are no longer in critical danger of relegation, and can put up a fight.
Other than the loss to the champions, Borussia have been flawless at home this season, winning 10/13 matches and scoring an average of 2.3 goals per game. Hamburg are the lowest-scoring visitor in the league, with only nine goals across 12 fixtures to date.
The draw in the reverse fixture was one of Dortmund’s biggest failures this season, so we definitely expect a more convincing performance at Signal Iduna Park.
