As usual, Saturday’s Bundesliga schedule doesn’t disappoint, with several key matchups on the horizon.

Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen face off in a crucial match at the top of the table, while Heidenheim, Wolfsburg, and St. Pauli will make another attempt to avoid relegation in their respective fixtures.

Don’t miss a thing from Saturday’s five matches with our expert tips and predictions for the whole Bundesliga schedule.

Today’s Bundesliga betting tips & predictions

Borussia Dortmund vs. Bayer Leverkusen (2:30pm)

The highlight of the round will come early on Saturday, when Dortmund host Bayer Leverkusen in their third matchup of the season.

Neither team has lost in the league in months, but BVB are definitely the team in form after four straight wins. Bayer Leverkusen, meanwhile, were part of one of the season’s most iconic matches in their 6-3 victory over Wolfsburg a week ago.

Nine of the last 10 Bundesliga matches between these two teams have featured goals at both ends. Most have also had over three goals in total, but it’s not necessarily worth the risk. We expect goals at both ends mainly because of the importance of the three points for the visitors, who are battling for a spot in the top four.

Heidenheim vs. Union Berlin (2:30pm)

Heidenheim and Union Berlin are in similar form, but the difference is that the visitors have twice as many points, while for the hosts, these are their final months in the top flight.

Although mathematically possible, Heidenheim won’t be able to avoid relegation this year, so all they can do is play their best possible soccer and enjoy their time among the top teams. Union, however, needs to improve at least a little, as they are seven points away from the relegation zone.

Heidenheim has been scoring an impressive number of goals lately, but they’ve also been conceding just as many—if not more. We expect a high-scoring match between two struggling teams.

RB Leipzig vs. Borussia Monchengladbach (2:30pm)

Both RB Leipzig and Borussia Mönchengladbach need to maintain their form until the end of the season to achieve their goals, and this match will be a serious test.

RB are one of the teams in the best form right now, with four wins in their last five matches. Borussia have only one loss in their last five, which is an improvement, but they are not yet safe from relegation.

The recent results of both teams point to a high-scoring match, but the last five H2Hs have not featured more than two goals, which shows just how competitive this matchup always is. However, RB have never lost at home to Borussia, with four wins in their last five home H2Hs. We expect them to win again, given that Gladbach haven’t won on the road in 2026.

Wolfsburg vs. Eintracht Frankfurt (2:30pm)

Time is running out for Wolfsburg, and given that they haven’t won in 11 matches and are the worst home team in the league, their prospects in the upcoming clash with Eintracht Frankfurt don’t look promising at all.

The only bright spot is their head-to-head advantage in recent years, having lost only once to the Eagles in their last nine matches. We should also note the visitors’ poor form away from Frankfurt, as they haven’t won since mid-November.

What both teams have in common are high-scoring matches, and four of their last five encounters have featured goals at both ends. We expect the same in this match.

St Pauli vs. Bayern Munich (5:30pm)

The Bavarians have taken a huge step towards another Champions League semi-final with their win in Madrid this week, but now they have a trip to St Pauli, who are fighting for survival.

The key here is that for the Bavarians, this victory is not so mandatory, given the nine-point cushion to Dortmund. But we've noticed that Vincent Kompany doesn't like to sacrifice games, so Bayern Munich are likely to come out motivated to win, and their squad depth allows for worry-free rotations.

Still, we expect St. Pauli to be active too, despite the huge challenge and class difference. Their last few home games were not bad at all, having only one loss in the last eight. In four of the last five, we saw goals on both ends. Separately, the Bavarians achieved only one clean sheet in their last 10 away games, although they won eight of them.
