The Bundesliga season wraps up in just a week, but we’ll likely get some of the big answers as early as this weekend.
In all likelihood, the relegated teams will be confirmed as early as Saturday, given the tough matches facing St Pauli and Wolfsburg. More interesting, however, is what will happen at the top of the table, because all three teams fighting for the final Champions League spot will play their matches at the same time.
Don’t miss this exciting Saturday with our expert tips and predictions for all Bundesliga matches.
Today’s Bundesliga betting tips & predictions
Augsburg vs. Borussia Monchengladbach (2:30pm)
Augsburg and Borussia Monchengladbach are finishing the season on a positive note, but they don’t have much to play for in their remaining matches. Augsburg still have a mathematical chance of finishing in the top seven and qualifying for Europe, but their chances will vanish if Freiburg win their match.
Borussia needs to improve in every aspect of their game, but at least they aren’t losing as often anymore. They have only two losses in their last 10 matches, but the problem with away games remains. They haven’t won on the road since mid-December, but the 4-0 victory in the reverse fixture against Augsburg could motivate them.
This match isn’t easy to predict, but we certainly don’t expect the visitors to achieve the same spectacular result. We’d bet on a draw, but we’ll stick to BTTS to limit the risk.

Hoffenheim vs. Werder Bremen (2:30pm)
This is a crucial match for both Hoffenheim and Werder Bremen, albeit for different reasons. The hosts will be in the race for the Champions League until the final whistle of the season, while Werder need just one more point to secure their survival.
Both teams have been involved in a number of high-scoring matches recently, and we expect to see another goal-filled thriller featuring them.
Hoffenheim are certainly the stronger side, but we wouldn’t risk backing them for a straight win. Our recommendation is Over 2.5 goals, though Both Teams to Score makes almost as much sense.
Hoffenheim vs. Werder Bremen top betting tip: Over 2.5 goals
RB Leipzig vs. St Pauli (2:30pm)
Three points will secure RB Leipzig a spot in the top three, while a loss will almost certainly send St. Pauli to the lower division or, at best, to a relegation playoff.
The Red Bulls suffered a heavy 4-1 loss to Bayer Leverkusen in the last round, ending their winning streak, but considering all factors, they may return to winning ways as early as this weekend.
St. Pauli aren’t performing at the required level and haven’t won since February. And lately, they haven’t even come close. We expect RB to dominate and win convincingly by a wide margin.
RB Leipzig vs. St Pauli top betting tip: RB Leipzig & Over 2.5 goals
Stuttgart vs. Bayer Leverkusen (2:30pm)
You won’t find a more exciting match than this one on Saturday, when Stuttgart and Bayer Leverkusen face off for a spot in the Champions League.
Both teams have 58 points and nearly identical goal-scoring statistics. Both teams score a lot of goals and are clearly in good form. However, Stuttgart won the first match of the season 4-1, which should worry the visitors.
We see no other outcome than a high-scoring match, with both teams finding the net. We wouldn’t risk picking a winner, so we’ll combine Over 2.5 and Both Teams to Score.
Stuttgart vs. Bayer Leverkusen top betting tip:
Wolfsburg vs. Bayern Munich (5:30pm)
We won’t see a treble this season, but Bayern Munich still have a chance at a double, and that will likely be the main thing on their minds. They’ve already clinched the Bundesliga title, and Vincent Kompany can afford to rest some of his key players ahead of the final in two weeks.
Wolfsburg need to win both of their remaining matches, but they haven’t beaten Bayern in 23 consecutive head-to-head matches. And earlier this season, they suffered the biggest loss in their history when the Bavarians beat them 8-1.
We’re unlikely to see the same result here, but we certainly expect plenty of goals, as always, between these teams.
