RANGERS finally handed out the thrashing they'd been threatening all season last week at Motherwell and they are expected to carry on where they left off against Ross County at Ibrox on Sunday.
Steven Gerrard's side were in midweek action in the Europa League in Denmark and once again had to do it the hard way to rescue a point in a 1-1 draw.
They face a Ross County side who have had 11 days to prepare for it after their match against Hibs was twice postponed. They sit bottom of the league, but impressed plenty with a 5-0 demolition of Dundee at Dens Park in their last game to finally get their first league win of the season.
European games in midweek rarely bother Rangers, although twice this season they have been caught out after playing in Europe when they lost at Dundee United and drew with Motherwell at home.
But the six goals they rattled in – albeit against ten men- last week at Fir Park was a hammering they had been coming because they have dominated plenty of teams without taking their chances.
However, they will be up against Malky Mackay's side who have a free hit here.

An entertaining clash in the Highlands saw Rangers eventually triumph 4-2 as can be seen below. County have never beaten Rangers on the 13 occasions the sides have met.
Players to watch
Joe Aribo is in fine form for Rangers at the moment and can be a goal threat too. He's already scored against County this season and is 15/8 with Paddy Power to net on Sunday.

While County may be that price for a reason, they have been improving in recent weeks and that win at Dundee was coming. Rangers have managed just three clean sheets in the league this season and just one in their last eight league games.
County have scored in all but two of their last nine league games since they played Rangers and one of those was against Celtic.
