After crashing out of the Champions League in midweek, PSG will be looking to finish their Ligue 1 campaign on a positive note as they travel to Toulouse on Sunday. The Parisians have been far from their best lately, particularly at the back and with Toulouse also unconvincing defensively, goals could be expected here.
PSG will head into Sunday’s clash with disappointment after crashing out of the Champions League following a 1-0 home defeat to Borussia Dortmund. Having already wrapped up Ligue 1, there is now little motivation in the final weeks of the season besides wanting to end things on a high.
The Parisians last tasted defeat in Ligue 1 back in September and have won four of their last six matches. However, Luis Enrique’s men have drawn four of their last five home matches, including a 3-3 scoreline with Le Havre in their previous Ligue 1 fixture.
Toulouse were beaten 2-1 by Montpellier last time out in Ligue 1, although that was their first defeat in six matches. They had picked up three wins in that run and sitting 11th on the standings, will be targeting a top half finish in the final weeks.
Carles Martinez’s men have surprisingly fared better on their recent travels, winning six of their last seven Ligue 1 away matches. However, they often struggle to keep their discipline at the back and have kept just two clean sheets on their travels all season.
