MANCHESTER UNITED are still reeling from their latest derby defeat but they will fancy their chances of getting back on track in the Premier League when an Everton side in dismal form come calling.
It looked like the Red Devils might upset the form book themselves when a stunner from Marcus Rashford had them 1-0 up against Manchester City at the Etihad last weekend.
But relentless pressure from Pep Guardiola's side eventually told with Erling Haaland's almost inevitable goal at the death sealing a 3-1 win and bringing up a bet for our man Slips Tips.
That made it back-to-back defeats for Erik Ten Hag's side and they now only have an outside chance of reaching the top four, with Aston Villa a whopping 11 points ahead of them.
But with Villa and fifth-placed Tottenham Hotspur facing off this weekend, Manchester United have the chance to regain some ground on at least one of the sides above them.
Everton are just as desperate for the points though as they bid to halt an alarming side that has sent them tumbling down the Premier League table again.
Despite getting four of the 10 points deducted by the Premier League back on appeal, Sean Dyche's side are still just five points clear of third-bottom Luton Town having played a game more.

That's relegation form so Dyche will be demanding a response from his players at Old Trafford as they look to build some momentum ahead of a tense run-in.

Everton's terrible form makes them outsiders for this one at 16/5 with BetMGM while Manchester United's best price is just 7/8 at Betway. A draw doesn't really suit either side and it pays 29/10 with William Hill.
Recent head to head
Manchester United won 3-0 at Goodison Park earlier in the season and that made it four victories in a row against Everton. But the Toffees had a decent run in this fixture before that, losing just twice in eight games.
Players to watch
Alejandro Garnacho scored the goal of the season when he last faced Everton and will fancy his chances again. The young winger has seven goals for the season and is 13/5 at Bet365 to add to that tally. He's also a tempting 23/20 at BetVictor to either score or assist.
Everton's best chance of a goal might come from a set-piece. Towering Belgian midfielder Andre Onana is a threat in the air and he's 8/1 with Bet365 to score a fourth goal of the season.
Anything else catch the eye?
Neither side has been scoring freely of late so that makes me think under 2.5 goals might be worth a look at 6/5 with Paddy Power. Betting against BTTS also appeals at a best 11/8 with Betfair.
Manchester United have only picked up one card in each of their last two games and none of their players went in the book the last time they faced Dyche's side. That makes me think backing Everton at -1 in the card handicap could pay off here at 15/8 with Bet365.
Abdoulaye Doucoure is always a threat for the Toffees and Bet365 are offering 5/4 on him having a shot on target which looks decent value.
