Paris Saint-Germain make the trip to face Lorient on Wednesday evening looking to strengthen their position at the top of the Ligue 1 table.
Luis Enrique's side ended a two-match winless streak in France's top flight over the weekend with a comfortable 3-0 victory at Brest.
Meanwhile, Lorient sit in 16th place in the standings having accumulated just eight points from nine matches, their last outing ending in a 2-0 reverse at Angers.

Meanwhile, Lorient are available at 17/2, there being a strong argument that even those long odds are attractive enough to entice a bet. The draw can be had at 9/2.
Head to head: PSG dominate head to head
In the 34 previous competitive meetings, PSG have prevailed on 21 occasions, perhaps fewer than many would have anticipated, with Lorient claiming seven victories across that period.
While PSG prevailed 4-1 in the corresponding fixture in 2024-25, Lorient had previously held a two-game unbeaten streak against the Ligue 1 champions, notably winning 3-1 at Parc des Princes as recently as April 2023.
Meanwhile, Lorient last won against PSG at Stade du Moustoir as recently as January 2021 when they came through in a 3-2 thriller.
In the last seven games between these two sides, there has been just one clean sheet apiece, which came in a goalless draw in August 2023.
Players to watch: Dembele to return to PSG XI?
Ousmane Dembele had spent six weeks on the sidelines before making a 27-minute substitute outing against Bayer Leverkusen in a Champions League fixture last week.
That was backed up by 23 minutes versus Brest, and the Ballon d'Or winner could be trusted from the start as he bids to add to his three goals and one assist from just 230 minutes of Ligue 1 and Champions League football during 2025-26.
Desire Doue will also be considered for a recall after netting three goals in his last 65 minutes of football.
From Lorient's perspective, Aiyegun Tosin has netted three times in Ligue 1 this campaign, although he has not scored since September 21.
Probable lineups
Igor Silva could be recalled to the Lorient back three having been introduced as a half-time substitute against Angers, but Abdoulaye Faye is also in a position to return after serving a one-match ban.
Bamo Meite may be the player to miss out, while Sambou Soumano is pushing for a recall in the final third in a move that may lead to Tosin dropping deeper.
As for PSG, the starting lineup from the last game could be rotated with Marquinhos and Goncalo Ramos joining Doue and Dembele as alternatives.
Nuno Mendes could also return at left-back after remaining as an unused substitute last time out.

Although PSG have only won three of their first away Ligue 1 fixtures this campaign, they still boast the best away record in the division by three points.
On the flip side, both of Lorient's wins in Ligue 1 this season – against Rennes and Monaco – have come in home matches.
