LIVERPOOL will look to seal their passage into the knockout stages of the Champions League when they play host to Atletico Madrid on Wednesday night.
The Reds raced into a 2-0 lead in the reverse fixture a fortnight ago but were pegged back by Atleti before winning 3-2, on a barnstorming night where both of my recommended bets banked.
That trio of triumphs has put Liverpool in the Group B driving seat and another victory on Wednesday night would see them secure their spot in the last-16 with two games to spare.
Jurgen Klopp's team are yet to taste defeat in any competition so far this season but they threw away a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 with Brighton Saturday, another game which brought up one of my Bet Builders.
Atletcio Madrid, meanwhile, are looking far from comfortable in Group B with Porto shaping up as potential rivals for a top-two finish.
Diego Simeone's side have not so far hit the heights of last season as they sit fourth in La Liga after 11 games, but they will be buoyed by Sunday's 3-0 win over Real Betis.

Liverpool are heavily fancied to make it four wins from four in Champions League Group B, with a home win trading at 33/50 with SBK.
Atletcio Madrid have drawn two of their last three matches and another stalemate can be backed here at 33/10 (SBK) while the Spanish kings are 47/10 (SBK) outsiders to conquer the Kop.

Liverpool are worthy favourites here but they are unlikely to have things all their own way, so I'm going to swerve the match result market and instead combine over one Liverpool goal and over zero Atletico Madrid cards, a 4/5 Bet Builder with Bet 365.
The Merseysiders are unbeaten in 15 matches across all competitions this season, with Jurgen Klopp's sharpshooters notching up two or more strikes on all but one of those occasions.
In fact, the free-scoring Reds have racked up three or more goals in an eye-watering ten of their opening 15 fixtures of the campaign, one of which of course was in the reverse fixture in the Spanish capital two weeks ago
Sure, Atletico Madrid are famed for their well-schooled defence under Diego Simeone's stewardship, but the Spaniards defensive standards have slipped this season, with Atleti failing to keep a clean sheet in six road trips this term so far.
Given that the Spanish champions visit to Anfield will represent a serious upgrade on previous away-day challenges, I'm more than happy to back Liverpool to bag at least a brace on Wednesday night.
To round off the Bet Builder I'm going with over zero Atletico Madrid cards – Simeone's warriors remain masters of the dark arts and have received at least one booking in 10 of their last 11 Champions League outings.
