LIVERPOOL welcome Atalanta to Anfield for the first leg of the Europa League quarter finals.
Jurgen Klopp would love to sign off with a European triumph and his men are favourites to lift the trophy at odds-on in most places although there is some evens around. They are just a general 4/7 to reach the Dublin final.
They were knocked off the top of the Premier League at the weekend when they were guilty of missing a host of first half chances after near total domination in the first 45 minutes at Old Trafford and in the end were happy just to claim a point at Manchester United.
In Europe, they have actually lost two games in Toulouse and Union St Gilloise but they were never in danger of not qualifying and they blew Sparta Prague away in the last round with an impressive 11-2 aggregate win.
Atalanta look well placed for another go in Europe last season with the Bergamo club in sixth place in Serie A. However, Gian Piero Gasperini's side have lost their last two games to Fiorentina in the Coppa Italia and Cagliari in Serie A.
In Europe, they knocked out Sporting Lisbon in the last round and also defeated the same Portuguese side in the group stages.

Liverpool are of course warm favourites here at 4/11 with bet365. Atalanta can be backed to pull off a shock at 15/2 with UniBet and the draw is 9/2 with William Hill.

The teams played in the group stages of the Champions League four years ago and while Liverpool romped to a 5-0 win in Italy, Atalanta stunned them by winning 2-0 on Merseyside.

Colombian hitman Luis Diaz scored his 15th goal of the season for club and country with the opening strike at Old Trafford at the weekend. He is 21/10 to score anytime with Ladbrokes.
Italian international striker Gianluca Scamacca has scored four goals in his last six games and has 12 goals for the season.He is 18/5 to score anytime with Coral.

Liverpool will be frustrated after missing all those chances at Old Trafford and Atalanta might just catch the brunt of the backlash.
They create so many chances and the only time recently they probably got their rewards were the two scuddings they handed out to Sparta Prague in Europe.
Atalanta's only comparable game against a team of Liverpool's quality this season was away at Serie A champions-elect Inter Milan…and they got hammered 4-0.
They should be able to build a comfortable first leg lead here and they should be backed at a solid 4/5 for a home win and over 2.5 goals with Boylesports which is far better than the 1/3 or so on offer for a Liverpool win.
They are expected to be out of the blocks quickly and Coral's 20/21 on a half time and full time home win looks a decent shout too.
