Fresh from their 14-0 victory over Gibraltar, France wrap up their European Championship qualifying campaign with a trip to Greece. The French are looking to finish with a perfect record in Group B and should be too strong for Greece, who are only playing for pride.
Greece are out of contention for the European Championship in Germany following Netherlands's win over Republic of Ireland. They are now three points off the qualifying places and are only playing for pride on Tuesday.
The Greeks head into Tuesday’s clash off the back of a 2-0 victory over New Zealand in a friendly, with Giannis Konstantelias and Georgios Giakoumakis getting the goals. It was a solid way to bounce back having suffered a 1-0 home defeat to Netherlands in their previous qualifying fixture.
Greece appeared to have lost their form at the wrong time having suffered three defeats in their last five qualifying matches. However, Gus Poyet’s men will still head into Tuesday’s fixture with some confidence having claimed two straight home wins prior to the defeat to Netherlands.
France were rampant last time out in the qualifiers as they ran out 14-0 winners over Gibraltar on Saturday. There were seven goals in each half with Kylian Mbappe netting a hat-trick while Olivier Giroud grabbed a brace.
Despite already securing a place in Euro 2024 with games to spare, France do not appear to be taking things easy. Didier Deschamps’ men have won all seven of their matches in the qualifiers and will be keen to conclude their campaign with a perfect record.
The goals have flowed freely for France throughout the qualifiers as evidenced by the win over Gibraltar. However, the defence has also stood out with just one goal conceded in seven qualifying fixtures.

France have also been impressive at the other end of the pitch, keeping clean sheets in six of their seven qualifying matches. The likes of Jules Kounde are William Saliba could be handed starts and can earn the French another clean sheet at 6/5 with bet365.
