Everton vs West Ham United

, KO: 15:00 , Goodison Park
West Ham United

David Moyes will be out to show West Ham United what they're missing as he bids to continue his impressive second coming as Everton boss.

Plenty of West Ham fans didn't shed a tear when the Scot moved on at the end of last season as they wanted to see a more progressive style of football under a new manager.

But while Moyes consistently delivered European football and even led them to Conference League glory, the Hammers found themselves stuck at the wrong end of the table under his successor Julen Lopetegui.

The Spaniard was sacked in January but there hasn't been a big improvement under his replacement Graham Potter, with Monday's 1-0 loss at Newcastle leaving West Ham stuck in 16th place.

Everton were in an worse situation when Moyes replaced Sean Dyche at the same time, with the Toffees facing the prospect of moving into their shiny new stadium as a Championship club.

But Everton are now long odds in the relegation market after losing just two of their 10 games since Moyes returned for a second stint at the helm.

They sit above West Ham on goal difference and Moyes will be looking to climb further up the table with a win that would taste so sweet.

How the bookies view it: Moyes to get his revenge

Everton have lost just four times at home all season and BoyleSports make them 11/10 favourites for this one with the Goodison crowd behind them. West Ham are 5/2 outsiders and the draw pays 11/5.

Recent head to head: Hammers by a nose

These clubs ground out a 0-0 stalemate earlier in the season in London and there hasn't been much between these teams of late. The last 10 meetings have produced five West Ham victories, four Everton triumphs and that single stalemate.

Players to watch: Beto bang in form

Bto has been a man transformed since Moyes took charge, with the striker netting five times in nine games. He's getting much more service now and BoyleSports price him at 6/4 for anytime scorer.

Scoring has been a big problem for the Hammers of late, with just five goals in their last seven games. Jarrod Bowen is usually their biggest threat and he's a bit overpriced at 3/1 for a goal here.

Probable line-ups

Everton are still light up front with Armando Broja, Dominic Calver-Lewin, Dwight McNeill and Iliman Ndiaye out. Midfielder Oriel Mangala is also set to miss out again.

West Ham United have similar problems with Michail Antonio, Niclas Fullkrug and Crysencio Summerville all out in attack. Defender Vladimir Coufal is also sidelined.

Everton: Pickford, Tarkowski, O'Brien, Mykolenko, Branthwaite, Harrison, Doucoure, Gueye, Lindstrom, Garner, Beto.

West Ham United: Areola, Cresswel, Todibo, Kilman, Ward-Prowse, Alvarez, Soucek, Wan-Bissaka, Paqueta, Kudus, Bowen.

Anything else catch the eye?

There's not much between these sides and Everton have drawn their last three games so the half-time draw looks good at 20/21 with BoyleSports.

Neither team has been scoring a lot of late so I'd be surprised if this was a thiller. The bookies agree as under 2.5 goals pays just 8/13 with BoyleSports while betting against BTTS is priced 4/5. Combining those bets together takes you to 21/20.

West Ham have only been averaging two corners in their last three outings so it could pay to back Everton -1.5 in the corner handicap at 21/20. The Toffess have racked up five or more flag kicks in their last three games.

Moyes has plenty of power in his midfield and the players in his engine room often pick up cards. Idrissa Gueye looks good at 16/5 with BoyleSports to go into the book for a seventh time this season.
