The race for the Premier League title looks set to go to the wire with Arsenal and Man City once again in the main roles, just like last season.

In this article, we will look at the outright Premier League title odds, what has changed after the most recent results, and what could change in the final three rounds of the season.

Premier League outright betting odds

Team Odds Chances of winning

Manchester City

2/5 (1.40)

71.40%

Arsenal

9/4 (3.25)

30.80%

Liverpool

500/1 (501.00)

0.2%

The bookies aren't giving much away in terms of value with Man City, they currently head the market at 2/5 to lift the Premier League trophy come the end of the season.

Arsenal are priced at 9/4 to win the title which may be the value play as they currently lead the race by one point, although Man City have a game in hand on them.

Liverpool's loss to Everton, followed by a draw with West Ham, was the nail in the coffin for their title hopes and they are priced at a whooping 500/1 to win the title come May 19th.

Premier League title race – what lies ahead?

Three rounds remain in this Premier League season and the title race is now essentially a two-team race, although Liverpool still have a theoretical chance of lifting the trophy.

In any case, let's take a look at the latest results from each team and their schedule for the remainder of the season.

Man City

The defending champions enter the final stretch of the season in the best position. Yes, they are currently behind Arsenal by one point, but they have one game more to play than the Gunners, so it's all in their hands.

With the Citizens out of the Champions League, they will be able to focus on the title race in the Premier League and it seems that we'll most likely see them lift the trophy for the fourth time in a row.

Man City's last five (Premier League)

Manchester City enter the final part of the season on a run of 19 games without a loss in the league, with a record of 15 wins and four draws in that span. Their last loss in the league came at the start of December last year, so that's another thing going Man City's way.

  • Man City 4 – 1 Aston Villa
  • Crystal Palace 2 – 4 Man City
  • Man City 5 – 1 Luton Town
  • Brighton 0 – 4 Man City
  • Nottm Forest 0 – 2 Man City

Man City's schedule

As we mentioned already, Man City have one game more to play than their rivals in the title race and it's a postponed duel against the Spurs. Looking at their schedule, this will certainly be their biggest test and Arsenal will be hoping their London rivals can do them a favour in this one.

Man City vs Wolves – 04/05/2024

Fulham vs Man City – 11/05/2024

Tottenham vs Man City – 14/05/2024

Man City vs West Ham – 19/05/2024

Arsenal

The Gunners still remember last season and how they lost the title to Man City after being on top for a long time. While Arsenal haven't been at the top as much this season, they are in first place right now, one point ahead of the Citizens, who have a game in hand.

So, Arsenal have to hope for Man City to slip in one of their remaining matches, otherwise the title will once again go to Manchester. Of course, Arsenal also have to be perfect in their remaining games, unless Man City somehow slip up more than once.

Arsenal's last five (Premier League)

Arsenal's 5-0 demolition over Chelsea and their subsequent triumph over their city rivals Tottenham have kept the Gunners firmly in the title race for now. Clearly, they have bounced back in great manner from their loss to Aston Villa and they will be hoping to keep the same form going forward.

  • Tottenham 2 – 3 Arsenal
  • Arsenal 5 – 0 Chelsea
  • Wolverhampton 0 – 2 Arsenal
  • Arsenal 0 – 2 Aston Villa
  • Brighton 0 – 3 Arsenal

Arsenal's schedule

Looking at the remaining Arsenal's matches in the Premier League, it seems that the biggest threat comes from their duel against Man Utd. The Red Devils are far from their best form, but the game will be played at the Old Trafford, while the other two games Arsenal will play at home.

Arsenal vs Bournemouth – 04/05/2024

Man Utd vs Arsenal – 12/05/2024

Arsenal vs Everton – 19/05/2024

Liverpool

Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool had their title chances shattered after a loss to their city rivals Everton 2-0 at Goodison Park and their draw with West Ham in the next game.

So, at the moment, Liverpool's chances of lifting the title in the Premier League are pretty much only theoretical and many things would have to break their way if they were to lift the trophy come the end of the season.

Liverpool's last five (Premier League)

We already mentioned Liverpool's loss to Everton and draw with West Ham in the last two Premier League rounds, but the team's chances of winning the title have already been diminished by their previous results. As we can see below, the Reds have struggled lately and have only managed to win once in their last five Premier League matches.

  • West Ham Utd 2 – 2 Liverpool
  • Everton 2 – 0 Liverpool
  • Fulham 1 – 3 Liverpool
  • Liverpool 0 – 1 Crystal Palace
  • Man Utd 2 – 2 Liverpool

Liverpool's schedule

In addition to being behind both Arsenal and Man City for the final stretch of the season, Liverpool probably have the toughest schedule of all title-chasing teams as well. Their next two games are against Tottenham and Aston Villa, both of which are bound for a top five finish in the league.

Liverpool vs Tottenham – 05/05/2024

Aston Villa vs Liverpool – 13/05/2024

Liverpool vs Wolves – 19/05/2024

I can’t see City slipping up, if City still had European competition then it would of been a distraction but they haven’t. Arteta needs to justify the money he has spent and if they don’t win it then it’s a massive failure. My opinion is Arsenal lost the title when they lost at home to Villa but you never know City might have an off day. My money is on City.
