Darts Premier League Tips

The fourth week of the Premier League Darts takes place on Thursday night as the eight players make the trip to the SSE Arena in Belfast.

With the majority of the lineup missing the Players Championship events on Tuesday and Wednesday, they should be well rested as Jonny Clayton attempts to retain top spot and Luke Littler bids to make his first final of the 2026 campaign.

Luke Littler vs. Jonny Clayton

Littler and Clayton square off in the opening match of the night, Clayton no-doubt recognising that he has an opportunity to put clear daylight between himself and the tournament favourite in the table.

However, Clayton under-performed at the Poland Darts Open over the weekend, losing to Michael Smith in the last 16, while Littler went on to win the tournament and post an average of over 105 across his five matches.

As such, the best betting odds for Littler are 2/7. There is value in Clayton at 3/1 and above, but it feels like the Welshman is a heavy underdog.

If you feel inclined to go with Clayton, placing a bet with a +2.5 leg handicap feels like the way to go.

MFT Tip: Clayton to win with +2.5 handicap (10/11)

Stephen Bunting vs. Luke Humphries

These two players met in the quarter-finals of the Poland Darts Open on Sunday, with Luke Humphries prevailing by a 6-1 scoreline on that occasion.

Humphries has now won his last four matches against Stephen Bunting, and it is difficult to predict a different outcome here when the Liverpudlian is still looking for his first win of this year's Premier League.

If you like a correct score bet, Humphries is available at 5/1 for each of 6-2, 6-3 and 6-4. However, we cannot ignore the 180s bet, with Humphries hitting a joint-high 22 in the tournament in comparison to just four maximums for Bunting.

MFT Tip: Humphries most 180s (10/11)

Michael van Gerwen vs. Gerwyn Price

With Michael van Gerwen having missed last week's Premier League and the Poland Darts Open through illness, the assumption is that he will not be at his best in Glasgow.

However, Price also missed the event in Poland, so this is very much a pick 'em when you also take into account that they are both averaging 97 and there is a 1% difference in their checkout percentage during this season's Premier League.

We fancy a 6-4 or 6-5 either way, so over 9.5 legs at around betting odds of Evens naturally appeals.

Furthermore, it is worth noting that Price has won the last two matches against Van Gerwen by an aggregate scoreline of 12-3.

MFT Tip: Over 9.5 legs (Evens)

Gian van Veen vs. Josh Rock

Sitting at the bottom of the table with just six legs from three matches, Josh Rock has publicly acknowledged that he is now prioritising the Premier League.

However, fellow debutant Gian van Veen has settled into this environment, reaching two finals and also finishing as runner-up to Littler at the Poland Darts Open where he also hit a nine-darter in the final.

While Rock will relish a chance to compete in Belfast, this is a massive occasion for the youngster. As well as there being value in Van Veen at 8/13, we like Van Veen for most 180s at 23/20.

MFT Tip: Van Veen to win (8/13)

Value bets for Premier League Darts Week Four

With Littler and Van Veen being in separate halves of the draw, the 10/3 for both to reach the final is a highly attractive bet.

While Littler would potentially have to beat Humphries in the semi-finals, Van Veen is in the half of the draw with two players who may not be 100% and the home favourite who is yet to win a game in this format.
