Probably the riskier of my picks going with the away side. Boro are 6/1 to win away at Griffin Park today, with the double chance market 17/11. You’re probably all thinking I’m crazy.
Since 2014 these two have played each other 11 times with Boro winning seven, Brentford winning two and the draw occurring twice.
The more noticeable stat is that of the five meetings in London, Middlesbrough have won four out of the five, with the other game ending in a draw.
Brentford destroyed Hull last week but prior to that they failed to score in the previous three games losing 1-0 at home to Forest and Leicester and getting a disappointing goalless draw away Huddersfield.
Boro have only lost one league game in the last nine, narrowly losing 1-0 to Fulham.
There’s method in my madness.

The last selection to form my treble is Luton to get a result at home to Cardiff. Luton won 3-0 in Cardiff earlier on in the season and whilst Cardiff’s form isn’t horrendous, they had to endure losing after extra time and penalties to Reading midweek which may just have taken it out of them. Luton know they’ve got to start picking up results to give themselves a chance of survival and they will see this one as a game they must get points from.

brisbane have 18 corners and conceded 32 in last 5 whilst adelaide have conceded 20 and won 41. head to head sees brisbane averaging just over 3 a game whilst adelaide average 5 a game.
head to head bookings are 22 with brisbane having 15 of those. and there have been some reds thrown in there for good measure. i was counting a red as only a card in my stats. brisbane average nearly 3 cards in last 5 matches in A league while adelaide are around 1.2 per game. the ref is not a card happy ref so i would tend to err on the lower side even though this has a history of lots of cards.

Mr F, wondering if you could help me with a question.
I had a bet on over 2.5 first half goals. The half ended before 45 on 43mins or something. I was able to cash out as I saw it was all of a sudden halftime albeit losing most of my stake. Do I have the right to complain and get my stake back? Obviously I didnt take any screenshots as I wasn’t expecting it to hit halftime early. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Spoke to skybet who acknowledged the ref ended the half early and said if the ref ends the half early then theres nothing they can do.
Classic case of a win for the bookie. Annoyingly its 3-3 now after 2-0 half time and guess what, full 90 plus stoppage played. 😡
If it’s a friendly match you haven’t got a leg to stand on as the time of a football match is up to the referee there are no set rules regarding how much time there is in each half.One of the reasons i never bet on friendlies mate been had myself with the exact same thing years ago when a game finished on 37 mins.Never bet on friendlies mate is my advice.

Macca’s given you the answer. Bookies will say they can’t decide when the game ends and in friendlies it’s not uncommon to finish early.
It’s the peril of betting on friendlies – I tend to stay clear of them unless I have team news that makes something great value.
Nothing to stop you fighting it with them and they might return your stake as a goodwill gesture.
I had a similar experience a few days ago when I placed O1.5 fhgs in a friendly LAFC v Dallas FC. They managed one goal in the mid 30’s, I had the game down as a loser and ignored it but later noticed the game had disappeared from inplay on both Skybet and 365 early 40’s. Now, the next morning I woke up to my stake returned in full as void. I was chuffed but wanted to find out more. So, I checked online only to find the game was not abandoned. 1 – 0 at halftime and 2 – 2 at full time. Not sure why or how my stakes were returned as void, I was just happy to be gifted my money back from both Skybet and 365.

More evidence the EPL think they rule the football world. They want 4 inches leeway for offside decisions for VAR. An absolute joke. Right now offside is the 1 thing VAR gets right every single time!! Hope they get told to beat it.

Very silly.
I do think the way VAR in EPL is used is terrible though. Much better in European leagues where the ref runs over to the monitor.
Also I think offside should be at least half your body ahead. When it’s just foot or an armpit it’s ridiculous. That isn’t an advantage – the attacker might have his foot offside but his weight could could be on the back foot whilst the defender is in a better position and has all the momentum. Offside is offside wether it’s 1 millimetre or 1 mile. There’s no argument.
I think what they’re trying to say is let the naked eye see it’s offside which is what it should be really.
Shouldn’t have to check 10 times and draw lines to rule on it.
It’s all about protecting “the product” and if it gets passed then will be the biggest disgrace in football.
Sean567 it’s a terrible thing some leeway but I can’t see what your on about with offside,its the worst think about VAR! They reckon there’s up to 15 inches of error from when the ball leaves a players foot to when they stick the offside line along the forwards foot so it’s not “offside is offside” it’s not Hawkeye were it’s exact to under a millimeter so I think it should be if your feet are in line it’s fine and if nobody,defenders,forwards linesman etc see anything then DONT let some guys watching super slow-mos over and over in a box miles away tell you that use have ALL missed something,including the fans more I think.
That or get challenges/flags on the play like NFL and if ye challenge you lose it like tennis and cricket. It would cut down diving the lot if you only had a challenge or 2 per half.
That or sort VAR like Italy n Germany but with a clear rule for handball and OFFSiDE as its the worst thing VAR does
