Monday Night Football comes from Craven Cottage where 15th place Fulham host 12th place Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The hosts are on a poor run of form and have yet to really get going this season. Their three wins have all come against teams in the bottom four, albeit Everton are there due to extenuating circumstances – Luton Town and Sheffield United being the other two teams they’ve conquered.
History hasn’t been kind to them in this fixture either, they’ve won just one of the last 14 meetings but they’re 11/8 favourites to buck that trend tonight.
After a sticky start to the season Gary O’Neil appears to have Wolves heading in the right direction.
But a team that’s capable of beating Manchester United but also capable of losing to Sheffield United is one that’s difficult to support with any confidence even if they’re 2/1 tonight.
Neither side have been particularly prolific this season, in fact Fulham and Burnley are league’s lowest scorers with just 10 goals. Just two of those have come in the first half. Wolves have only scored three in the first 45 so far this season.
With that in mind a low-scoring first half could pay dividends. Under 1.0 pays 2.050 on the Asian Handicap, meaning you’d still get your money back if there’s one goal scored in the first half.
Alternatively you can have 5/6 on there being no goal scored by the 31st minute at Bet365 – a bet that would’ve landed in eight of Fulham’s matches and six of Wolves’.
