Serie A offered fewer surprises than usual over the weekend, but there are still two significant clashes to be played on Monday, in which Roma and Atalanta will continue their battle for the top four.
La Dea face Cremonese, and a win would bring them within two points of the European zone, at least temporarily. Roma, meanwhile, host a resurgent Cagliari in the late fixture, as they search for their first win since mid-January.

Today’s Serie A betting tips & predictions
Atalanta vs. Cremonese (5:30pm)
The Black and Blues remain undefeated in Serie A in 2026 and now sit five points below the European places. Last week’s triumph in the Coppa Italia over Juventus should give La Dea some confidence that they can handle relegation-threatened Cremonese.
Le Tigri are sinking closer and closer to the drop zone after nine consecutive winless matches. The worst part is the fact that Cremonese have not scored in four matches in a row. And their last away goal came six trips ago at the start of December.
Atalanta have been sensational when playing at home, and won four of their last five competitive matches with clean sheets.

AS Roma vs. Cagliari (7:45pm)
Former title contenders and current top four chasers Roma need to respond to their back-to-back upsets, but Cagliari are flying after three consecutive wins.
Stadio Olimpico is definitely the best place to get back to winning, as the Wolves won seven of their last 10 home games in all competitions. Cagliari beat relegation-threatened Fiorentina in their previous away game, but it was just their second away win in their last 10.
Goals have been hard to come by for Roma in recent weeks, so this will possibly be a low-scoring clash, given that they also boast the best defence in Serie A. The Wolves can’t afford more missteps, so we expect a narrow home win.
