We will use a unit system for our stakes, allowing readers to set their own unit value that suits their own budget. For the sake of simplicity, for us, 1 unit = £1.
We will continue to transparently track our progress as far as we go on the path to 1,000, but will refresh our main tracking stake back to the starting point every time we surpass 100 units – a 10x ROI.
For the sake of consistency, all tips are placed using odds from bet365. It worth pointing out that with Bet365 we can paid out if our selection goes into a lead by two or more goals.
Despite Brighton winning 5-0 both sides collected a booking. The hosts collected a card in the opening 45 minutes, and it was then a case of waiting for the Palace players to get frustrated with the scoreline and collect a card.
Bet 7 – Tottenham vs Coventry – Monday 19th October at 20:00
Tottenham welcome Coventry in a crucial Premier League encounter, with both sides already under pressure at the wrong end of the table. Spurs sit bottom of the league, while Coventry have collected six points. A home victory would lift Tottenham above their opponents, but a Coventry win would open up a six-point gap between the clubs.
With so much at stake, Tottenham will be expected to take the initiative, and their corner statistics suggest they should generate plenty of attacking pressure.
Spurs have won 3, 9, 10, 5, 11 and 4 corners across their six Premier League matches this season, averaging seven per game. More importantly, their three home fixtures have produced 9, 5 and 11 corners, giving them an impressive average of 8.33 at their own ground. That means Tottenham have reached the five-corner mark in every home match so far.
The expected inclusion of Omar Marmoush and Mohammed Kudus in the wide positions is another positive for this selection. Both enjoy attacking opposition full-backs, driving towards the byline and delivering balls into the penalty area. Their direct approach should help Tottenham force defensive blocks, clearances and corners.
Coventry have conceded 2, 4, 3, 6 and 6 corners in their five matches, including four and six in their two away fixtures. Their recent encounter with Newcastle was particularly open, suggesting there could be opportunities for Tottenham to attack rather than face a completely defensive opponent.
The home side's league position should also encourage an aggressive approach. Spurs cannot afford another disappointing result, particularly against a direct rival, and will need to establish pressure from the opening stages.
With Tottenham averaging more than eight corners at home, a pair of dangerous wide attackers and the importance of securing three points, over four Tottenham corners at 1/4 looks a solid selection.
