Alloa Athletic look to be a side on the up as we approach the business end of the season and they can get the three points at East Fife – who appear to be heading in the opposite direction.

But they are a side in form after a win in Dumfries against a Queen of the South team who had been doing well themselves and a hammering of Hamilton Accies last week.

They played some of the best football of their season against troubled Accies and could have won by more than 3-0,

Edinburgh City vs Forfar Athletic prediction

Forfar Athletic have improved lately after a disappointing season and still have a chance of the play-offs in League Two.

The capital side are in a desperate race to the bottom with Dumbarton and they have gone well and truly off the rails recently.

They have lost eight goals in their last two games at Clyde and Elgin City and look to be heading for a play-off to stay in the Scottish League.

Forfar have won both of their last two games and although they are not great travellers, they are worth a go against a side who have forgotten how to defend.

Livingston vs St Mirren prediction

Backing a team who have won just one league game all season – which was back in August – may seem like lunacy, but Livingston are worth a punt at 2/1 to beat St Mirren with McBookie.com.

The West Lothian outfit maintain they will keep fighting, but look to be doomed in the Premiership.
However, they have shown plenty of fight recently and were moments away from beating Rangers last week.

St Mirren were taken apart by Motherwell at home in a 5-0 embarrassment last week and have lost the plot since their League Cup win in December.

This is surely Livi's last chance to have a chance of avoiding the drop and they can take it at a big price.
