Lucky 15 New Featured Image

Yesterday's Lucky 15 bet was void due to the meeting at Leopardstown being abandoned, but fingers crossed, they go ahead tomorrow.

I've opted again to go down the route of trying to find some value at bigger prices so I will advise Sunday's Lucky 15 bet as an eachway play.

Ahoy Senor 16/1 – Musselburgh 3.40

Backing Ahoy Senor is a big risk, but he is one of my old-time favourites, and although he looks to be on the downhill route, he still looks interesting reverting to hurdles on a handicap mark of 145. Ahoy Senor on his day is a cracking horse, and it is worth noting he was a grade one winner over hurdles as a novice. Ahoy Senor hasn't shown anything in recent runs to suggest he is going to win anytime soon, but racing throws up wacky results, and at 16/1, he looks a fair play if the return to hurdles sparks a revival.

Uncle Pat 20/1 – Leopardstown 14.45

This is probably the trickiest race on the card at Leopardstown, but I fancy Uncle Pat to run a decent race at attractive odds. My selection is a consistent sort for Willie Mullins, and although 3lb out of the handicap, he should still run a decent race if on a going day. Sean Fsrrell claims 7lb of his back, which is a bonus and with proven stamina over further, he could outrun his odds of 20/1.

O'Faolains Glory 12/1 – Musselburgh 14.30

This is another wide-open race, but I thought O'Faolains Glory had as good a chance as any in this field and also arrives in good form having won his last two races, both of which came at this very same venue. This race looks tougher than the previous two he contested in which means he will need to take another step forward, but he at least arrives in form, as I've already stated. Conor Rabbit claims 3lb of his back also.

Davy Crockett 16/1 – Leopardstown 13.40

I couldn't believe the odds of Davy Crockett who I expected to be in and around 8 or 9/1 for this race. I caught a few replays of his races and thought he looked a decent sort for the Willie Mullins yard. My selection hasn't put a foot wrong, having won his three races to date. The ground seems to be the main question mark on his head but at 16/1 I simply couldn't not put him up as a selection.
