Racing Tips – Aim For The Stars With Reyaadah Star At Nottingham

Arctic Mountain looked like he was going to land the spoils but was unfortunately swallowed up towards the line by Ron O who was backed quite heavily before the off.

I've three selections from the flat tomorrow from Nottingham and Brighton.

Reyaadah Star 3/1 – Nottingham 4:40

Reyaadah Star was the only horse running on the flat tomorrow that stood out to me as a decent bet.

My selection won well at Kempton three weeks ago when she scooted clear in decisive fashion to win by 7L. If she turns up in a similar form tomorrow and can transfer that performance to the turf from the AW she will take all the beating.

It has taken some time for Charlie Johnston’s filly to click which isn't a surprise given the stable are not in the greatest of form at present. She unseated Daniel Muscutt at Southwell on debut but showed she is a filly with ability when running to a decent level on her next couple of outings where she only lost by a neck and just over a length.

Reyaadah Star makes her handicap debut tomorrow of 72 which looks more than managable. James Doyle is booked and retains the ride on my selection which is an obvious bonus.

Tenerife Sunshine 3/1 – Nottingham 4:10

I'm taking another risk by backing another Charlie Johnson horse, surely it's only a matter of time before his string hit some form. James Doyle has also been booked for the ride and it's worth noting he rode this horse on the AW Finals Day last time out.

It is a bit of a concern that my selection hasn't won a race since his first run as a three-year-old which came away back in August of last year. Still, I thought Tenerife Sunshine has been running to a pretty decent standard of late and a return to the winners' enclosure is surely only around the corner.

This contest represents a drop in class from what he has been running in recently. My selection has been contesting in stronger races than this on the all-weather. He's back off his last winning mark, and this race looks like a perfect opportunity to return to winning ways.

Street Parade 6/1 – Brighton 2:20

I have to give the ole boy Street Parade a chance in this contest. There is plenty of pace on offer in this race and I'm hoping it will set up nicely for Street Parade to pick up the pieces late on.

Michael Attwater’s sprinter is a regular contender at Brighton and doesn't hold a bad record when doing so with one win and seven-place efforts from 13 outings.

He went through the entire 2023 season without a win which is a tad concerning however the the eight-year-old made a promising start to this year's flat season when finishing second here earlier in the month. He has dropped to a rating of 51 ( bottom of the barrel stuff ) 12lb below his last winning mark. He's been given every chance by the handicapper in this contest and I'll be disappointed if he isn't bang there in the business end.
