Unfortunately, this is the first Lucky15 thread since the changes. Hopefully we are able to find some winners, and hopefully in the future, Attacanter can make a return.

Thanksforthehelp – Cheltenham 2.55

I thought that this race would be won by one of the horses towards the bottom of the weights, and ended up siding with Thanksforthehelp.

This horse is only 1lb higher than when winning in easy fashion at Chepstow in February of last year. He won that race like a ridiculously well handicapped animal, and was given a fair hike in the weights for the easy success. They then went to the Pertemps Final at the Cheltenham Festival and he didn't quite back that performance up, and he hasn't exactly been firing on all cylinders since, despite getting another win along the way.

His handicap mark has now dropped to a decent one, and I think you've got to believe his run a month ago for a pipe opener for the season and now back up to 3m and on a dangerous mark, he is worthy of a shot in this race where not many really catch the eye for being ahead of the handicapper.

Densworth – Wetherby 1.35

I'm typing this up before the odds have been released, so I'm hoping that he is going to be priced up nicely.

This horse was weak in the market for his season return, which was his chasing debut. He didn't jump terribly, but he was in obvious need of the run as the market vibes would say, so seeing him getting tired late on was hardly a surprise.

Callum Pritchard takes the reigns today and removes 10lbs from the weight, which means this horse is running off a mark of 117, which is very low given he is a three time winner over hurdles and won a race off a mark off 120 by 20L.

He Can't Dance 6/5 – Navan 3.43

Short priced selections in Lucky 15 bets are always up for discussion but I for one like to have at least one short priced selection and Saturday's ‘shorty' comes in the shape of Gordon Elliot's He Cant Dance.

Elliot runs two in this contest and it would be a surprise if neither of them were to come out on top in this contest. Gordons other runner Whinney Hill has race fitness on his side after placing second last month at Punchestown but I wasn't totally taken on the form of the contest and I've opted to go for He Can't Dance instead.

My selection won a point to point back in March in impressive fashion and as a result was an expensive enough purchase for the team. He looks an interesting prospect going forward and his chances of winning are boosted with useful 7lb claimer Carl Millar doing the steering.

Dubai Honour 2/1 – 3:15 Newcastle

With most of the selection on Saturday coming over the jumps, I thought I'd pop on with a selection on the flat to mix things up a little.  The horse I really like is the William Haggas-trained Dubai Honour who runs in the opener at Newcastle.

My selection has been competing at the highest levels all over the world this year and has run some blinders. He has won 8 times during his career, including an impressive Group One victory in France during the summer. His most recent outing came over in Baden-Baden, another Group One contest which saw him fill the runner-up spot. He arrives here race fit and this contest represents a much easier task compared to what he has been competing in. My selection carries a penalty but I don't think it should cause much issues.
