Friday’s Football Tips: It could be fiery as Sunderland host Leeds in EFL Championship

It's back to the domestic action tonight after a feast of European football over the last few days.

But there's still a huge game in the EFL Championship as leaders Sunderland take on title favourites Leeds United.

The Black Cats are still outsiders for the crown yet a win tonight would take them six points clear of Daniel Farke's side.

Leeds are in good form though and will also be going for the victory that would move them level on points with the leaders.

Sunderland vs Leeds United top betting tips

Sunderland always attract a big crowd but this match could be close to a sellout with Leeds boasting a huge travelling support.

The atmosphere should be red-hot and that could lead to players from both sides losing their cool a little. Going for cards could be a smart option and over 52.5 booking points pays 6/5 at Betfred.

The odds are also decent for certain players to go into the book, with Leeds defender Jayden Bogle 12/5 for a fourth card this term and Sunderland utility man Luke O'Nien 2/1 in the same market.

I'm expecting a close game and the half-time draw also appeals at 11/10 with Betano.

Leganes vs Valencia top tips

Fallen Spanish giants Valencia are showing no signs of returning to former glories this term and head into tonight's clash with Leganes sitting third bottom in La Liga.

Los Che haven't finished higher than ninth in the last five seasons and it looks like being another tough campaign under club legend Ruben Baraja.

Their away form is particularly poor and Valencia have lost every game on the road so far. But Leganes have also been struggling at home, following up a win over Las Palmas with defeats to Mallorca and Athletic Bilbao.

That suggests a draw might be the most likely outcome tonight and it pays 17/10 with Betano but the half-time stalemate might be safer at a best 22/25 with Unibet.

Valencia have fired blanks in their last two but BTTS has landed in the last two for Leganes. Backing both teams to score tonight pays 13/10 at Betano and could be worth a punt.

Napoli vs Como top betting tips

Antonio Conte has got Napoli flying again and they head into tonight's clash with Como looking to move four points clear at the top of Serie A.

The former Juventus gaffer got off to a poor start this term with 3-0 loss in Verona but the response since then has been tremendous, with four league wins and a draw away to title rivals Juve.

Como have made a decent start themselves after winning promotion and sit midtable but Betano make them 6/1 outsiders for a win in Naples.

Conte's side have kept clean sheets in their last four but Como have been involved in some thrillers, netting two or more in their last three.

That makes me think BTTS stands a chance at 5/6 with Betano and adding over 2.5 goals boost the odds to 49/40 in a bet builder.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia scored in Napoli's last game at home and the Georgia star looks worth a punt at 13/10 for another goal tonight.
