Lyon vs. Auxerre (6pm)
Lyon began the season with a convincing win over Toulouse, before suffering a defeat at home to Le Havre. This has been the story of their form since the start of the season, having already failed to qualify for the Champions League.
They won’t get a better chance of a win than this match against Auxerre, who are currently the team in the worst form. They’ve conceded eight goals in their first two matches and, unfortunately, it looks as though we’ll be seeing similar results frequently.
I expect Lyon to capitalise on this opportunity, even though they haven’t been at all convincing of late. There’s no better time than now, which is why I reckon we’ll see plenty of goals and a win for the home side.

Paris Saint-Germain vs. Monaco (8:05pm)
PSG haven’t won any of their last three matches, and things certainly look worrying for the champions. On a good day, they’re the strongest team in the world, but good days have been few and far between of late.
Monaco, on the other hand, have been absolutely flawless since the start of the season with four wins across all competitions, and currently sit at the top of the table – a position usually occupied by PSG.
The main problem for the Parisians lies in defence, and Monaco look set to capitalise on this. We mustn’t forget, either, that last season the Monegasques beat them twice, including a 3–1 victory at this very stadium.
