Ismaila Sarr's goal of the season contender wasn't enough to preserve Watford's 100% start to the season as West Brom pegged them back for a share of the spoils on Monday.
But The Hornets will be aiming put down a marker tonight against another club who have dropped down from the Premier League, Burnley.
Both clubs head the betting to bounce straight back up and tonight's result could go a long way to determining which, if either, are to make it back to the top flight.
Like Watford, Burnely, under new boss Vincent Kompany, have started with a win and draw. They'd have been disappointed with the two points dropped at home to Luton Town on Saturday, in a game in which they dominated possession, though that result perhaps underlines the rebuild Kompany has on his hands.
Having graduated from the school of Pep, you know that Kompany will put great emphasis on ball retention and that led to a 71% possession stat for the Clarets, which in turn won them 11 corners (to Luton's 2). They also enjoyed 70% possession away to Huddersfield and won that corner count by 5-1.
Watford on the other hand just shaded possession in their opener at home to Sheffield Utd, 53%-47% but managed just 30% at the Hawthorns last time out, failing to win a single corner to Huddersfield's 12.
There's a few potential corner angles in this one; Burnley are 5/6 to win more than 4 corners which feels a bit skinny away from home. They're 13/10 to win 3 or more in the first half, which would be a bit of a punt.
But the stand-out price based on the opening two games (so keep stakes small) is for Burnley to win the corner count at 11/8 with SBK.

Brasil vs. Peru in this Copa Sudamericana 2nd leg tie and the bookies have the hosts nailed on for the win at odds of around 4/9 on.
It’s easy to see why given the historic differences between these two footballing clubs and countries but there’s a bit more bite to it now with Melgar having a cracking domestic campaign and running the (albeit 10 men) very close for the victory in the 0-0 first leg.
I think it will be tighter than the bookies think though and, with no away goals rule, both sides will be pushing for the win – I was tempted with Melgar on the handicap at one point but will side with a market that is serving me very well these last few months:

On the face of it, it looks a reasonably “safe” bet – but, given bookies aren’t charities, is there anything to be aware of about this match?
Nothing to be aware of from my point of view,will obviously be a tight game but we should see a goal in it.

Think a lot of folk with put £10 in for the offer, it wins and then they bet £20 on something else and it loses. I assume that is a thought process of bookies on these ‘super’ boost offers. Certainly don’t think many will stick £10 in and take £20 out after the game. And as Deb said above, every now and then it doesn’t come in and they make a packet!
If you bet the £10 they allow you to then win £20 then just stick that on anything else straight after your always going to lose money betting that way if you ask me!
