Joint-leaders in the OBOS-ligaen table, Haugesund, travel to the Skagerak Arena on Sunday afternoon to take on fifth-placed Odd in a fixture that appeals to me for goals.
Ex-Bolton Wanderers midfielder Per Frandsen has seen his side score 26 goals across their opening 13 matches in the Norwegian second tier this term, with 15 (58%) of them coming in front of their supporters.
The Oddrane have blanked just once in the league this season – scoring on multiple occasion in nine (69%) of their fixtures – and they will be confident of continuing their impressive record in front of goal against a Haugesund backline that’s kept just three clean sheets this term, shipping 25 goals.
Endre Eide’s visitors are the leading scorers in the Norwegian second tier this term, firing in an impressive 40 goals across their opening 13 matches, with 22 (55%) of them coming on their travels.
The Seagulls have found the back of the net in each of their 13 league outings since relegation from the Eliteserien – scoring 2+ goals in 11 (85%) of them – and will be confident of adding to their impressive goal-tally against an Odd backline that has shipped 12 goals across their previous seven matches.
