⚽️ Roma vs Cremonese

🇮🇹 Serie A

⏰ Sunday 22 February, 19:45

Roma will look to strengthen their position inside the top-four in the Serie A table as they welcome struggling Roma to the Olimpico on Sunday evening.

Roma dropped points for the third time across their past four Serie A matches last weekend, as they conceded a late equaliser to draw 2-2 away at reigning champions Napoli in the Derby del Sole.

The Giallorossi did win 2-0 against Cagliari in their last home fixture, meaning they have now won eight of their 12 Serie A clashes on home soil this campaign (W8-D1-L3), with that record changing to W8-D0-L1 when excluding meetings with the top-three, scoring 15 goals and conceding just three times in those matches.

Cremonese made an impressive return to the Italian top flight by winning five and losing just four of their opening 14 Serie A matches (W5-D4-L5).

However, Davide Nicola’s men head into this clash in the midst of an 11-game winless run (W0-D4-L7), failing to even score a goal in nine of those matches, leaving them in 16th position in the Serie A table, just three points outside the relegation zone.

Bet of the Day

Roma have been known as flat-track bullies this season, with Gian Piero Gasperini’s men winning 14 of their 17 Serie A clashes against teams positioned in eighth and below (W14-D0-L3).

The Giallorossi have registered clean sheets in 11 of those 14 victories, whilst 12 have featured fewer than four match goals.

As alluded to, Cremonese have failed to score in nine of their 11-game winless run, meaning I’m keen to back a low-scoring victory for the hosts.
