Ranheim will look to continue their strong home form this season as they welcome newly promoted Strommen to the EXTRA Arena on Sunday afternoon.
Ranheim bounced back from their 3-1 defeat away to fourth-placed Odd last weekend as they thrashed newly promoted Sandnes Ulf 5-1.
That result continued Christian Eggen Rismark’s strong home form this season, as they have picked up 13 points from a possible 15 (W4-D1-L0), only dropping points in a 1-1 draw against joint-leaders Kongsvinger.
The Trondheim-based outfit boasts the division’s best home attack in the division, firing in an impressive 18 goals across their opening five clashes in front of their supporters this term.
Strommen made a solid start after promotion to the Norwegian second tier, as they picked up four points across their opening three matches.
However, since then, Jens Wedeborg’s visitors have lost six on the bounce, leaving them at the foot of the OBOS-ligaen table, three points adrift of safety.
Conceding goals has been a real issue for Strommen this season, with no side letting in more than the 29 they have, shipping 2+ goals in eight (89%) of their contests and 3+ on six (67%) occasions.
