After returning to winning ways in Andalusia on Saturday, Sunday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me head to the English Championship, and I’ve highlighted a goals-based selection in one of the fixtures.

Middlesbrough will look to strengthen their position inside the automatic promotion places in the Championship as they travel to Loftus Road to take on mid-table QPR.
Julien Stephan’s hosts have scored 46 goals across their opening 35 matches in the Championship this campaign, with an impressive 29 (63%) of them coming in front of their supporters.
The R’s have found the back of the net in all but two of their 17 league outings in front of their supporters – notching on multiple occasions in seven of their previous 10 – and will be confident of continuing their excellent goal-scoring form at home against a Boro backline that has kept just one clean sheet across their previous 17 road trips and none in their last 11.
Kim Hellberg’s visitors have fired in 54 goals across their opening 35 encounters in the Championship this term, with 28 (52%) of them coming on their travels.
Boro have blanked in just four of their opening 18 road trips – scoring two to more goals in four of their last five and six of their past nine – and will be confident of breaching a QPR defence that’s kept a solitary shutout across their past 13 Championship contests on home soil, shipping multiple goals in eight (62%) of them.

Boro’s opening 18 away matches in the Championship this campaign have averaged 2.83 goals per game, with Over 2.5 Goals landing in 11 (61%) of them – including in each of their last five and seven of their past nine – and I’m expecting that trend to continue in West London on Sunday afternoon.
