Two clubs separated only by goal difference in the Danish Superliga table meet at the Viborg Stadium tomorrow afternoon as Viborg play host to Randers in a fixture that appeals to me for goals.
Jakob Poulsen’s hosts have scored 33 goals across their opening 26 matches in the Danish top flight this term, with 22 (67%) of them coming on home soil.
The Greens have made the net bulge in 11/13 (85%) of their league contests in front of their supporters – notching on multiple occasions in nine (69%) of them – and will be confident of continuing their goal-scoring record at home against a Randers defence that has yet to record a shutout on their travels this season, conceding 23 goals.
Rasmus Bertelsen’s visitors have scored 36 goals across their opening 26 matches in the Danish top flight this term, with 18 (50%) of them coming on their travels.
The Horses have made the net bulge in 10/13 (77%) of their road trips – including in nine of their previous 10 – and will look to get on the scoresheet once again on their travels away at a Viborg defence that has recorded a league-low two clean sheets in Superliga this term.
